upon arrival, after a trans Atlantic flight, the hotel only had boiling hot water (august 11th) - i.e., no shower unless I would like to get 3rd degree burns. The gentleman in the reception assured that the engineers had fixed this known issue, and that the water should be "showerable" the next morning - so not the case. When addressing this, and asking for a solution, the gentleman in the reception said that his hands were tied, and that id had to wait for the manager ... who showed up midday, when I was in a training class, i.e., no chance to talk to the manager. The hotel did not offer any type of alternative to the shower situation, and did also not offer any type of compensation. None. Not even a bottle of water. Utterly disappointed that such a renown hotel as the Courtyard completely missed the part of happy customers.
