My stay at Days Inn Cappadocia was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room did not match the photos advertised on Hotels.com. The Wi-Fi was virtually unusable, the shower had extremely low water pressure and even fell off the wall due to being loose, nearly injuring me. Despite being listed as having a TV, there was none in the room. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, the room smelled unpleasant, and it was infested with flies. There was no air conditioning or even a fan, despite the temperature being 33°C.
Upon arrival, the receptionist was absent from the front desk and later displayed a very rude and unprofessional attitude. After I reported these issues to Hotels.com, the receptionist confronted me aggressively, questioning why I made a complaint. He raised his voice, made discriminatory remarks, and labeled me a “troublemaker.” The situation escalated to the point where he physically threatened me and ordered me to leave the premises.
I have submitted formal complaints to Hotels.com and the local authorities regarding this unacceptable and unsafe behavior. I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious. Do not be misled by the online ratings or photos. Proceed at your own risk.
Thank you.
