Seedy access up stairs above night club. Seedy reception, but great advice from the receptionist on places to go in Dublin. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Very noisy - directly above nightclub
Cheap and cheerful hotel was what I expected for the money, so only complaint was that the room was literally shaking until 2am from the loud music coming from underneath

Value for Money
Great value for the price. Right in the centre of the city for a budget break it’s great! There is stairs to check in, very basic area. The rooms are a lot more luxurious than we were expecting and nice big windows & tv and the bed is so comfortable, clean hotel standards. Staff are pleasant and then there’s a pub restaurant attached so if you want food from the hotel as such you would go there. No room service. You ring a bell for them to open the door too, day & night, so good security.

crap hotel-crap service from hotels.com-
terrible- i couldnt travel due to storm-rang hotel-they said they would cancel. I booked through hotels.com-disaster!!!! the hotel offered credit note-but due to weather all phone lines were down- hotels.com never offered me credit note- the next day when the electricity returned-hotels.com and the gate hotel both said it was too late-they stole me money!! said i didnt respond- even thought the offer for credit note never reached me!! stole my money

The was ok. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel and primarily used it just to sleep. There a bit of a smell to the hotel but I assume that it was just because it’s a very old building. There was also no step free access so if you have mobility issues or a lot of heavy luggage I wouldn’t recommend. If your planning short stay and don’t mind a lot of stairs then this might work for you.

Comfortable stay
Quick and easy check in. Hotel a bit dated and very warm in the corridors, however stay was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Location excellent and close to everything.

Was good fun would do it again
Good location, 24 service so you can go and enjoy the nightlife. Don’t remember coming back a couple of nights but I woke up in the bed safe and sound. Went just to experience Dublin. Bar downstairs open till 2:30 each day but not too noisy from hotel room.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is an old building, but the beds were comfy and clean. We have been travelling around Europe for 2 weeks (staying in cheap hotels) and I would say this was my favourite stay.

Für einen Städte Trip ist sie Unterkunft ganz ok. Nachts war es doch sehr laut, da in der Nähe eine Bar/Club war der bis 4Uhr morgens geöffnet hat. Wenn Jemand auf dem Gang läuft oder spricht hört man dies im Zimmer sehr gut. Unser Zimmer hatte nur zwei kleine Kippfenster Oben nahe der Decke, die wir nicht selbst öffnen und schliessen konnten. Vom Flughafen her ist die Unterkunft einfach mit dem Bus zu erreichen und sie liegt sehr zentral vom Stadtkern.

Meglio di quanto pensavo
Dalle recensioni che ho letto prima di partire avevo quasi paura, invece non è poi così male. È vero che la struttura è datata, con crepe sui muri e molte cose da rivedere, ma in fin dei conti la camera dell'hotel è fatta solo per rientrare la sera. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La camera è piccola, ma ben pulita (per quanto lo possa essere la moquette) Il bagno aveva una doccia più grande di quella di casa mia, con bagnoschiuma e shampoo. L'unica cosa che mi è dispiaciuta è che il letto non è stato rifatto, (ovviamente non è un gran problema) ma hanno solo appoggiato degli asciugamani puliti sul piumone. Il rumore dei locali sotto non l ho trovato così fastidioso, era molto ovattato, e abbiamo dormito bene. Io lo sceglierei di nuovo, ottima posizione!
