I like almost everything about the stay. The sheets are pretty clean. The space has nice interior design and looks pretty elegant. But the coffee machine was broken for two days. As the air conditioning is shared by all rooms ( or at least rooms on the first floor), I had to endure the incredible cold in my room for a whole day in summer. That should be fine if you bring warm clothes.

Cost Effective ATL residence close to downtown
The space was ample. We lost power to the house on Saturday likely due to bad storms. No power equals no heat. However, even on Friday it was not straightforward on how to regulate the room temperature. Other than the ability to regulate room temp, the space was easily accessible. Response to emails needs some work. I had an issue that I ended up resolving but not because someone from the property contact me.

Visit Atlanta Georgia
Very nice bedrooms and living room, dining room and kitchen. We enjoyed the whole house located in a historic and impressive neighborhood. We attended the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship Game at Mercedes Benz Stadium during our stay. The house location was perfect for getting to and returning after the game. Close to the airport, too. I recommend Alecia B&B for travelers attending an event or touring the great City of Atlanta Georgia.

Something a little Different
This is an old house that has been converted into a rent a room with a digital front door code and then the same for each room. The main common area has a couch, frig, etc. The owners are still working on this place, but the room was nice, bed comfortable. No frig in the room, for us no big deal. Negatives, all stairs. You need to verify exactly what address/property you are going to. 511 Pegg, or 1000 Linam. We stayed at 511 Pegg - when we turned onto Pegg Rd, we were like "are you kidding me" At $50/night we would stay again. This place reminds me of my worldly travels. Nice inside, quiet, comfortable - a deal for the price.

Would stay again...
Thought I was staying at the Linam Ave. property. Instead stayed at the Haygood address. Room was nice but could have used a small table, shelf or chair or something to put phone, glasses or ? on while sleeping. All else was in good order and the fruit and snacks worked for us in the morning.

Clean and very spacious room. Great value. We had quiet, well slept nights. The other customers staying there were courteous and we did not hear any noise mentioned in the other reviews. We had a late arrival and was worrying about our access into the property. However, a clear access instruction was given timely exactly one day prior to the arrival. All workout well.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this B&B while I was waiting for my new home to become ready. My only word of advice is to really read the house rules! I made the mistake of cooking when cooking isn’t allowed at this time, and I felt absolutely awful once I realized what I had done. The space was so tranquil & serene, and the remodeling was done wonderfully. The snacks were a nice touch. I’ll be returning when I’m in the mood for another staycation.

our overall experience with the property is positive. Someone came into our room Sunday and turned the air up to 84. We were in the top floor and it was stifling hot both on check in and our final night. We were not scheduled to vacate the property until Monday. Upon returning from a full day in Atlanta the room was so hot we could barely breathe. it took hours to cool down and our sleep that night that terrible. We contacted the property and was told we were the ones who made the adjustment. We asked for one night credit and was denied. Terrible customer service blaming us for turning the air off.

Good for what was needed.
The 3bdrm 2bth apartment is not the Ritz Carlton, so if you're looking for deluxe accomodations, look elsewhere. However, if you need a a place to lay your head while in Atlanta at a reasonable price, this is it. For what I needed for last minute adjustment to travel plans, this fit the bill. Towels and toiletries provided, but no snacks provided at this location, which was fine, since we had our own. The stove and microwave were unavailable. Again, depending on your expectations, location may or may not be what you're looking for.

Living in a church is unique travel experience. People's town location is easy access to downtown through driving or bus route 55 to five point. No cooking and no visitor policy adds some inconvenience, no TV program inside room makes no sense. Generally speaking, it is a quiet nice place to stay long.
