Can’t recommend this retreat more than enough! Firstly it is pet friendly accommodation which you can bring your furry babies with you for free staying. Secondly my car was broken down on the second day of staying. Katrina the owner offered so much help to us. Taking us to town to get lunch. Let us to check out whenever we are ready. Nice environment and friendly people and friendly dogs . Would definitely love to come back.

We loved the Hunters retreat, it was pet friendly, everybody was very helpful and friendly, they had a bonfire with marshmallows for the kids. The rooms were clean great value for money. We will be back!

The owner was super nice, had to call her in the middle of the night and she had to clean the bed with one of the cleaners! Open the bed sheet before we about to go to sleep, what a fright, human hair, dog hair, pubes etc! The room was clean, the bed was made, but it looks like when you open the spread it wasn’t done, they just covered it up! Not a great experience! As much I wanted to put a good review it’s hard not to tell the truth! It’s a bit worn down the rooms, needs major renovation and maintenance! Only thing I liked about the place are the owner and the cleaner, they were super nice and apologetic! Overall even though the price point is good, cleanliness takes a major factor! So sorry about this review, I wish I could wrote of something more nicer, but had to tell the truth! Need major repairs and maintenance, squeaky fan!

Staff were lovely, helpful and very accommodating. However there was a large rhino beetle found in our bathroom and the amount of termites outside at night time was horrible which ruined our night activities. We still enjoyed our stay though

Rooms were so musty it didn’t feel like a healthy place to be. The cabin was dank and poorly aired. We arrived after hours and found it very difficult to locate our cabin in the dark with poor/no lights (actually dangerous stumbling around the place trying to find the cabin).

Bush Retreat
A perfect rustic no nonsense getaway location. Great rates, lovely bush setting. Quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I will definitely be returning in the future.
