Scipioni is a wonderful street to stay on in the Prati neighborhood, which feels like a locals area but several sites you'll want to visit are nearby. We enjoyed the espresso bars and the restaurants that surrounded us. It was quiet and safe. Nestle, the gal at the front desk, was very nice and helpful. One suggestion: have small coffee makers in the room or a larger one that is in common area but is available early morning. Don't let the antique elevator freak you out, it works slowly but fine if you pay attention to it's quirks.

Topp beliggenhet i Prati, som er et fint område å være i når man har sett the usual suspects i sentrum noen ganger og har bodd i Trastevere og Monti. Området ligger fint innenfor gangavstand fra sentrum, og metroen fungerer helt fint (selv om Spagna var stengt akkurat nå) Residenza Scipioni ligger fint plassert og var et veldig ålreit sted. Hyggelig betjening og rent og pent. The property staff were excellent and explained everything in detail With efficiency and courtesy. The room was so comfortable and they even went in and made sure the air conditioning was turned back on before I got home. Beautiful news facility. If you are coming to Rome and planning on visiting the Vatican, this is an amazing option! It’s located in the Prato neighborhood and very easy to walk to many places in Rome. The metro station is very close and there are many amazing shops and restaurants close by. We felt very safe in this area. The staff is very helpful and accommodating as well. The room itself was amazing for Italy - large space, comfortable bed, bigger bathroom (for Italy, we are Canadian so it’s a bit different there), fridge and window out to the street. It was perfect! It was very reasonable and we feel so lucky that we found this place! Thank you!!!

This was a nice stay. Very much convenient located next to the subway and with a lot of options nearby for shopping and dinning. Staff was nice and room was clean. My room had a broken curtain and the elevator broke down, making me go up 5 floors with my heavy suitcase by stairs, therefore not a 5* review. I do recommend the place!

Both of us had a wonderful week long stay. We could see the dome of St. Place Basilica from our room window. Place was very clean, quiet and convenient. Close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. Special shoutout to Nestle at the front desk who was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. 10/10 would recommend this place.
