Quaint little hotel with typically small but well designed European rooms, nice breakfast buffet, and convenient walkable location for dinners (site seeing though was always a 2-mile walk or a cab away). Staff was jeckyl-and-hyde ... some were amazingly accommodating and polite, one in particular (Simon, I think?) was bizarrely rude, answering questions with "that information is in your room" and turning his back to fiddle with papers, and another time when told the cleaner had forgotten to put any toilet paper in the room he told us "they clean the rooms every day and she will be there tomorrow"... umm... was he suggesting we wait until the next day to use the bathroom? We asked the bellman for the TP, someone else for the shampoo the next day (that they also didn't replace when empty) and then avoided this man whenever he was on shift during our 8-day stay. Really ruined what would otherwise have been a great stay.
