The best hotel experience I have ever had. The Villa was absolutely spectacular. It was clean and spacious well thought out and very peaceful. Every morning I enjoyed the coffee and bread that were provided for me as well as fresh milk and fresh orange juice which were also provided in the Villa. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was absolutely wonderful. Strong water pressure. I kept the door open during the day when I was there and the wonderful clean Azorean air felt great. The property is absolutely beautiful with the pool and orange Grove as well as a banana plantation. Vinny the dog always made me feel welcome and the host was very warm. He brought me a pastry to thank me for staying there. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Compound Garden Stay
Our overall stay was pleasant and peaceful. The kitchen and bathroom areas are lighted more for mood then function in the Villas. As a side note, it required some hunting around before we found the main living area AC unit control, its was hidden behind the decorative arch way in our villa. (noticed a couple other villas had there doors and windows propped open for air flow)

10/10 recommend staying here! The property manager was highly communicative, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for being close to Ponta Delgada and also being able to easily access the rest of the island. I would highly recommend renting a car, and parking was easy on the property. We loved that there’s a farm on the property - it was so unique and special. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!

Peaceful and beautiful. A garden filled with fresh veggies - we made salad and sautéed leeks and zucchini with our pasta for dinner. Spacious and private. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, you shouldn’t doubt about this place!!!! This place is awesome! They have this small cozy green house where you can see organic little vegetables that you can freely use. There is small cute swimming pool as well ( it was cold season so we didn’t use it ) ppl r super kind and nice. They clean room every day:) Also you can use laundry for free as well that they already have a detergent and softener! We went there for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday vacation. And they offered a birthday wine and traditional cookies as well! What a sweet gift!!! It was perfect vacation for us. Also close from the airport as well as town!!! It’s 10!!! You can trust me!!! Only thing, I wish they can improve was door knob(bathroom door knob was keep taking off whenever we open the door). Ah, They didn’t have pepper, salt, olive oil those things so you need to prepare if you want any simple salad. Also shampoo or treatments would be nice to take with you!!

The villa was exceptional, beautiful and clean. The kitchen had everything you could want and the bedrooms were a great size. The geounds and pool aree beautiful and they have a garden where you can pick fresh strawberries, lettuce and more. Huge thank you to Paolo the property manager. He gave us an entire itinerary for our stay, recommended fantastic sightseeing and food options and was so incredibly kind. We will definitely go back and recommend to anyone who is heading to the Azores. The location is also perfect for getting around.

This property exceeded my expectations in its beauty and comfort. Everything from the lovely shower to the complimentary coffee and juice were amazing. It was the perfect home base from which to travel around seeing the sights of Sao Miguel. I can’t recommend it enough. Incredible.
Such an amazing property. I can’t say enough good things about this place. So modern, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Paulo was so helpful throughout our stay and we loved all the special touches like the pick-your-own garden and welcome basket/parting gift. The location is perfect (right next to the highway but just a short drive/taxi ride into town). I was hesitant to book this place at first as it didn’t have many reviews so it seemed to good to be true - but trust me, it’s real and it’s as perfect as it looks in the pictures :)

Stayed here for one week while visiting Sao Miguel. Great location, only about 10 minutes from the airport and close to town, but also easy access to the highway to visit the rest of the island. Paolo was great and very helpful. He showed us around the hotel grounds and got us situated in our room. He made some recommendations for things to do and places to eat and showed us a weather webcam website so we knew what the weather was like in different parts of the island. Provided a few days worth of espresso and some juice and milk in the fridge. The room had a full kitchen (although we didn't really cook anything except toast for breakfast) and there is a garden with fruit that you can eat, as well as a grill (didn't use this either). The resort is gated, although I don't think the crime on the island is an issue. Also had a nice pool that was never busy. Maids were friendly and came everyday to clean our room. The stay ended with some local pastries and a thank you note on our kitchen table. Our favorite place to eat ended up being Casa do Bacalhau. We discovered it via a brochure that we found. They do a type of music called Fado on Wednesdays w/tapas and Fridays & Saturdays w/dinner. Lasts from 8pm-midnight w/dinner & music & you do need reservations. Very fun and the food was amazing! Another favorite that we would go back to was Banhos Ferreos in Furnas. Had great cozido das Furnas. Also try the corn on the cob at Lagoa das Furnas...very good!

We LOVED this property! We had a rental car so it was perfect for us as it was super close to Ponta Delgada (~5-10 min drive) and quiet, spacious and beautiful. Check in was easy as the staff was so careful to be there when we arrived even though our flight was delayed and we arrived very late at night. They were so helpful with recommendations and checking on us to ensure we were super comfortable. The grounds are really beautiful and the apartment itself was SO nice. Beautiful, modern, super super comfortable with a lovely porch and really nice bathroom. The temperature of the room was always perfect. There is a super sweet dog who lives on the property and will greet you in the mornings sometimes which was an added treat for us! We would absolutely stay here again.

Just got back from a week at this property. Can't say enough about it. It's in a great location about 5 mins outside of Ponta Delgada (you need a car) in a country setting away from the traffic. We had a one bedroom unit. So modern and clean. There's only a few units at the property, so you really feel like you have privacy. They have a nice pool in the back garden, and also a vegetable garden where you can pick anything you want. I loved picking fresh arugula to put on my sandwiches. The owner, Pedro, allowed us to check in early and showed us around the property. He's really passionate about the garden. Paulo gave us some great info when he checked us in and was super friendly and helpful. Even though it's not a 24/7 staffed property, it feels like they are there for you anytime. And, Minka, the big beautiful German Shepherd was a total sweetheart. She recently lost her sidekick that she was with for 6 years, so it was great to see her be so caring when you'd see her. I'd recommend this place 1000% and would love to go back sometime.
