This was our fourth stay at The Cove for our anniversary weekend. We have stayed in a suite unit twice and this was our second stay in one of the townhouse units. The unit we had was convenient for access to the pool and adjacent to The Loft for dining, (which we love). This unit could use some updated furniture as the coffee table was extremely wobbly (I thought it would fall apart when I tried to move it a little closer to the sofa). Also noticed what looked like black mold in the shower stall. The ceiling fan light/fan had to be turned on by standing on the bed (which was very soft, so I felt very unsteady). The light would flicker off & on also. The bed was listed as queen size on the booking but having a queen at home, this was definitely smaller. Hoping this review will help get these things corrected for future guests. We'll still book The Cove in the future but will look for one of the suite units as we didn't recall how steep the staircase is to get to the loft bedroom.

My stay at the Cove was very good. There were a few negative issues. The unit had a pod coffee maker but did not supply any sample pods and was told that they could be purchased at the desk. There wasn't a coffee station at the front desk so you couldn't have any coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Also, the sign to the entrance of the property was not lit up so at night it was hard to see where to drive in. There was a restaurant on the premises, but it is only open Thursday thru Sunday, and my stay was Monday thru Wednesday, so I didn't get to eat at the Loft (their restaurant) which was inconvenient. It was dark and raining when we checked in so we had to get back in our car and find a place to eat which we were not real familiar to the area. That said, the units were very nice and we were on the first floor, so we had an outside sitting area facing the inside pool which was very nice. The unit was quite spacious, neat, clean and had two bathrooms with a very large walk-in shower with great water pressure. I would definitely go back but maybe not Monday thru Wednesday and I will bring my own coffee.

The hot tub was very hot beyond comfortable. The steam room in the ladies lock room was out of order. Down stairs bathtub drain was clogged. Staff called trying to convince us to go to a 90 minute sales pitch.

@The Cove is an family oriented resort with many amenities and outdoor fun for All ages , from outdoor pool & bar to lunch a'lo fresco with dining options inside with live entertainment on weekends nights , the indoor pool / jacuzzi is an plus for the foul weather days and activities at the Rec Center ( outstanding )

The outdoor pool area was excellent!..nice indoor pool area with hot tub. Huge place with lots to do! Only cons were no elevators and dated furniture in townhouse. Definitely would go back!

A kitchenette, but cooking not allowed, loud band just outside the windows. Cleaning incompletely done. Worn and dirty furniture. But a good location, friendly and helpful staff and guests, well organized.
