We really enjoyed our stay at Saletoga Resort! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we also enjoyed the spa! Highly recommend this resort to anyone staying in Samoa looking for a relaxing holiday.

Sadly, it just didnt do it for me, having stayed at the La Lagato & Taumeasina resorts first. The bar was set high. On arrival, La Lagato & Taumensina both welcomed us with complimentary drinks & iced towels. Taumensina even presented us w/fresh floral lei's. Saletonga? Nothing. We weren't even acknowledged waiting at the front counter to check-in for a good minute or two. Once checked in we were told a porter would come and help us with our luggage. 5mins of waiting by our car awkwardly, we ending up skull dragging our suitcases across the thick gravel carpark, causing damage. Once across the long stretch of gravel, we loaded our bags onto a flat bed trolley left on the path. Only then did one of the receptionists come out, unloaded the trolley, and walk us to our room. The 2bdrm suite was spacious. The 2nd bdrm being 2x walls in the corner of the room that didnt meet the ceiling, so there was noise pollution between the rooms at night. Beds were very comfortable & I loved the private outdoor shower, esp at night under the stars. The room had aircon (nowhere else on the resort did) but was stuck on 26°C. The receptionist said she'd get maintenance out to fix it. They never came. Theres SO MANY sandflies and mozzies in comparison to the other resorts. The Fia Fia & Buffet night was fun BUT Ive had gastro for 4days since. Happy hour saves only $2 on 2x set already expensive drinks. Dinner will cost you around $500 for 4ppl. $340 for the buffet. Is Sal worth the price? Not IMO.

Relaxed in Paradise
Our villa faced the pool and was within walking distance to the beach as well. Our villa was spotless and spacious. Each villa had their own private outdoor shower. My only issue was the mattress wasn't firm but other than that our villa was fine. The staff were all helpful and friendly. You can hire snorkeling gear, paddle board, read a book or swim in the pool. We hired a car but I think there's a shuttle from the airport that can be arranged with the resort. There are tours available. Hoping to return with our children next time.

Orörda stränder, fantastiskt hav!
Fantastiskt läge med helt orörda stränder. Att kunna vandra längst stranden utan att se ett enda hus, hotell eller ens andra människor är fantastiskt! Inte ens någon annans fotspår än de egna. Personalen är mycket vänlig och försöker, men servicen lämnar lite övrigt att önska. Resorten är inte så stor och rummen består uteslutande av enskilda små hus. Det känns aldrig trång. Särskilt på stranden är det allt annat än trängsel. Revet når ända in till stranden, så det är lätt att snorkla direkt från hotellets strand. Även om snorklingen från stranden inte är världens bästa är det otroligt lättillgängligt.

Beautiful resort! Great for families. Close to Lalomanu beach and the trench. A car would be a good idea if you are wanting to explore as it is a bit of an isolated location. Loved and totally recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 6 night stay at Saletoga Sands. Exclusive Villas is an adults only space. Rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. The resort has everything you need for a complete relaxation purpose holiday including a spa. Owners Gavin & Lou and their staff maintain the to pristine condition. Service is second to none. Sota Tale Saletoga Sands!

The property is gorgeous, we loved our 8 night stay. We stayed in the Matai suite, again, lovely - but an upgrade in the bed and linens would not go astray. Also, gardeners woke us around 6 am every day. Very annoying.

Lovely resort setting however let down by Not delivering what they advertise . 1) Matai fale states a 50” tv however actually only approx 29”. 2) room stated a free bottle of bubbles , fresh fruit and flowers upon arrival which we never received during our 14 day stay. 3) upon arrival told our booked room was unavailable so had to spend first night in another room. As compensation they offered free fia fia night , however was charged to our room upon leaving. 4) emailed the manager with our concerns but no response or acknowledgment. Wouldn’t recommend staying when they don’t deliver what they advertise and then don’t communicate with you .

If we had to come back to Samoa we would stay here again. We had an aircon and fan in our room, our room was a quick walk from the bar and pool. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the fiafia night. The only improvement I would recommend is adding wifi to the rooms or channels for the TV. Overall a good stay! The driver that picked us up from the airport was very helpful with his tips on the island.
