From the minute we arrived, we had three rooms. We all came for the four operas at the Verona Arena, and it was within walking distance to gate number one for the orchestra seats. They accompanied us to the first night, where we really didn't know where we were, and the best part was no matter where you turned, there was someone waiting to help you! I was so enchanted by the owners who actually took the time and energy to meet us at the door when we arrived and introduced themselves very discreetly and incredibly artistically! They immediately mentioned their interior designer from Paris, where I live, and they were so refined and so elegant. Everything is perfect. There was even a gigantic Jacuzzi in my room, which I never use and I didn't use, but it was immaculate. The bed was so comfortable, so elevated. There were original paintings on the wall, not just prints. There was a gorgeous carpet to walk on. The attention to detail was everywhere you looked. The lighting was perfect. The little amenities. It is clearly the hotel you want to be in if you're going for opera season. You could not be closer if you tried.
The chef, oh my god, don't even think about ordering breakfast because he brings it out with such style and panache and things you never thought could even be on a breakfast menu! He would make special Italian donuts and then come out with cream to squeeze, like squeezing whipped cream, but it was cream, vanilla cream in the donuts. I am speechless for how fabulou
