Cute hotel with great location. The hotel is a vintage style building but it has been remodeled and is SO cute. The rooms aren’t super fancy but are well appointed. We had a sink, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. They have fire pits and corn hole on the front lawn. They have fire making kits ( including S’more kits) if you want to have a fire on the beach. The staff was super friendly

They had recently opened because the "now open" sign was displayed. I believe we booked this room before they were officially open for guests. The room was very clean; the amenities were pleasant. We had a beach front, 1st floor corner room. There are two firepits in the common area for your enjoyment. The staff were extra friendly throughout our stay.

We had a great visit to Manzanita and the room we had was very nice with a good view of the ocean. We had issues with two staff members that knocked on our door and entered our room without approval within 5 seconds after knocking. Not cool.

Great hotel, in a great location. Would definitely stay here again. My one complaint was the hot water situation. The water is WAY too hot, I mean like hot enough to be dangerous especially to a young child or an elderly person. Hot enough to burn your skin. And unfortunately, when I turned the temperature down in the shower so it wouldn’t burn me, then the water pressure was basically nonexistent. So it’s either hot enough to burn your skin, or you get to shower in a trickle of water. I hope there is a solution for this.

I loved the brand new rooms and being able to cross the street and be in the sand. The view was amazing, and we walked to dinner and to grab coffee in the morning. We also loved the fire pit in the evening. In the junior suite, besides the two chairs at the table, you had to sit on the bed to watch tv, which was fine. Everything else was perfect!

We spent $400 for one night. When I booked this room, I looked closely at the photos. I spent even more to upgrade a ocean view. When I opened the door, I was so disappointed. Yes, it’s clean however, it’s half the size of a normal hotel room with my beautiful beach ocean view out the side of a window. Be aware that pictures aren’t always what they seem online. I won’t be going back.

Heads-up for those heat-intolerant that need AC, they only have it in some rooms so make sure to specifically request those rooms. Otherwise, you'll just get a floor fan. For how expensive the property is, that's not great. Also, we paid for an oceanview room but our room was along the side facing the side-road, so it was a partial view room in reality. Like ~1/3 of a view. There are fireplaces in the images for the rooms, but there was no fireplace in our room. Otherwise, they have a hot tub being built later this year, so that's nice. And free root beer on tap.
