I booked this room for a trip with my adult daughter. The location was convenient, the pools and hot tubs were always clean and available. Waking up in the morning and being able to see the ocean from our balcony was amazing. Having convenient beach access was the biggest perk. Room was clean and updated. But we did have to get our own clean towels daily from the front desk. Not sure why we didn’t have housekeeping daily.

My issues. No bath mats in the bathroom, Coffee machine did not work. No visible plugins for cell phones or electronics. Room to small. Telephone did not work. Check in went smoothly. The Azure restaurant is way too expensive and the pool bar with light fare closed at 3 pm. The pizza was good though! Liked the Starbucks cafe but it closes early too. The walk way to the beach was overgrown with sone trash. I liked the hammock and lots of hot tubs and pools (with some tubes) The bathtub was slow to drain which caused rushing due to the 10 am check out time (very early) with no option for a extension at all (we asked) made me decide not to choose this facility next visit. I recommend going to Magnolias for home cooked food on 26th street- has buffets and was worth the $.

It was beautiful upon arrival. The gentleman that checked us In was very friendly and professional. We paid for ocean front and as we did get that it was not what we expected. I had to stand in my tiptoes to see over the AC pipes and fixtures. Speaking of which our AC did not work at all. We needed more towels and toilet paper and could never find anyone at the desk to get some. Thankfully we found a room attendant that gave us some. The rooms need updating badly. Starbucks in the lobby advertised as being open until 7pm they were not. The parking garage was insanely tight to try to drive an suv in. Overall not terrible but not worth what we paid.

Here’s what is difficult about Myrtle beach. There are a bunch of older hotels that new owners get to renovate and turn into “resorts”. The pictures all look fancy on lineThis hotel is older. There were no bugs, the sheets were clean. I can see the effort. With that being said, the floors were sticky, the room felt wet from the humidity. No climate control in the elevators. The room smelt like mildew. As soon as you walked in, it hits you in the face. People were up partying after midnight. Construction in the room next to us as late as 6:00 on Saturday. I had to wash some ball uniforms, the dryer sounded like it was going to fall apart, but it did work so I was thankful. If you drive a larger suv, the parking is difficult. All of that can be overlooked. Mediocre at best but not nasty. If you love dogs, then this is a good option for you. Pools were nice and right on the beach. What really got on my nerves- was the staff! Saturday morning on the way to a ballgame, I didn’t have good cell service and was having trouble finding a quick breakfast drive through. I was told to Google it. Well if I could have I would have, but I couldn’t. Sunday morning, tried to get a Starbucks drink and it couldn’t be made. She didn’t have lemonade. No problem, can I get a refund? No! She didn’t know how to do a refund to a card and we would have to wait for her to finish her line to figure it out. They don’t do daily house cleanings. A lot of opportunities, but at minimum the staff can be nice.

hotel could use upgrades in gym, room finishes and furnishing, peeling paint on door, moulding, bed was comfortable, large trash can in room, limited amenities in bathroom, not as welcoming as could be for the price. Outdoor access to beach was excellent and hammocks were a nice touch. Didn't try the restaurant, cafe had limited offerings, generally could use updating and touchups throughout. Well located on the beach.
