Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Flat/landlord/host
Our experience was absolutely unacceptable. Our check-in was scheduled for Sunday, but the host failed to contact us beforehand and did not provide access to the building. Despite repeatedly trying to reach them by phone, we received no response and were left without anywhere to sleep for the night. We only managed to access the flat on Monday, after numerous attempts to contact the host.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The floor was dirty, there were insects in the bathroom, and the apartment urgently needs maintenance. Most concerningly, there was broken glass inside the flat, creating an extremely dangerous situation for my baby.
Given the serious inconvenience caused by the host’s failure to provide access on the agreed date, we requested a late checkout as a reasonable gesture of goodwill. This request was denied, showing a complete lack of consideration for the situation they had put us in.
The building itself is beautiful, but visitors are not allowed, which is another significant limitation to be aware of.
Overall, the poor communication, failed check-in, lack of cleanliness, dangerous conditions, and complete lack of flexibility made this a terrible experience. I would not recommend this accommodation, especially to anyone who expects reliable check-in arrangements, basic cleanliness, safety, and professional customer service.
