Located not too far from all the Durham City Downtown attractions. Rooms were nice, clean, and in very good condition. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming.

Strict check in time of 3 pm when kiosk opens - then it wouldn’t accept overseas postcode so staff had to check me in anyway. Spacious comfortable room. Enjoyable breakfast buffet - added at extra cost when booking. Convenient location just a short walk to Durham Old Town - Castle and Cathedral.

Thank you, Premiere Inn, our overnight stay was perfect and easily could stay longer, to accommodate our family of 4. It was clean, the staff were friendly, resourceful and accommodating. If you have lots of luggage, it is better to catch a cab from the rail station. Only £5-€12 because it's close but hilly. The breakfast was delicious and good value. Durham is beautiful and charming with so much character.

Well, it's Premier inn. You know what you're getting. It's not luxury, but also it's not run down. Cleaning and bed top notch. Works for a one-nighter.

Enjoyed my stay at this Premier Inn. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Only thing I wondered about was a lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke, or something, in the hallway outside my room on the fourth floor. I did not mention it to the staff so my bad! Anyway, I would definitely stay here again regardless.

Staff was great, sadly the heater didnt work, and the little heater they provided did little to keep the room warm, in such terrible winter weather. And although the staff was amazing, they didn't offer any room changes or compensation. Thankfully we were able to find wool blankets at a near by store and bought 2 of them so that both my child and I could stay warm at night. So just think twice before you stay. I am sure the other rooms would be fine.
This was as warm as I could get the room. The window was not sealed all the way, causing a breeze to come into the room. Now both my child and I are sick.
