The parking is useful behind the hotel,but there is no access to the hotel from the carpark; you have to walk around the outside of the hotel to the front door. The rooms were clean but lacking in some basic touches e.g there were not tissues in the room, no hairdryer, and a very cramped bathroom despite being in a large sea view room. The room clean and the bed was comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay here, a great position on the sea front, harbour to the left, beach to the right. Seemed to be the meeting place for food and drink for locals as well as residents. Accomodation dated but adequate.. Superb cod and chips in the Bistro Bar restaurant. Free car parking at rear of hotel and limited spaces to the front.

We had a good stay at the Marine Hotel. The main reason for that is the fantastic location paired with the ability to bring our dog with us. Apart from that, the hotel feels quite basic. We had a few issues with our room. These issues were handled rapidly and effectively. The manager in charge when we called reception was excellent. Additionally, all the staff we engaged with were very lovely and accommodating. Overall, it just feels quite expensive for the basic amenities and breakfast felt quite limited. Again, the staff were top notch, fantastic attitude from them all. That definitely improved our stay.

Great location and great food. Even though the weather was rainy and cold, the rooms were far too warm. We did get a fan but it only blew hot air around with no way to turn the heat down. Toilet roll etc wasn’t topped up and as we stayed for 3 nights, had to ask for more.
