We checked down the first night and I felt my chest having a hard time to breathe. The place was so full of mold and it was supposed to be an ocean view hotel but only if you walk out the doors of the lobby and every time we wanted to go out, they wanted to take our key to hold and I’m like no because I have my valuables in that room and of course the breakfast was horrible, but I am very thankful to get a refund except for the one night stay but yet the place is very disgusting. I highly recommend to run from this place.

So, here is the deal, staff was amazing, beds… if you like cold ac bring a blanket because they only have sheets. The pool is about 10x20 and 3 feet deep, indoor right by the desk. Literally on the beach. Water was about Luke warm, no hot or cold. If your not used to these areas, looks a lil sketchy but the people are friendly. Stray dogs all over the place but all want petting. Doors are locked from 11p to about 630. Would I stay there again, absolutely but it is no resort. Also outside of cartagena. Some great restaurants around there as well.

This property may be acceptable only for travelers with extremely low expectations. Anyone expecting even a basic level of professionalism should avoid it. Almost every part of my stay reflected poor maintenance, misleading advertising, and a lack of essential guest care. The airport pickup was stressful; the driver only sent the last three digits of the license plate, making him nearly impossible to find. The room lacked basic essentials such as toilet paper, soap, and—most inconveniently—WiFi. It also looked nothing like the photos: everything was worn, neglected, and even the sink was loose. The pool is tiny, and the advertised “pool bar” does not exist. The only option is buying a single can of beer at reception. Guests arriving after midnight may be left outside for up to 20 minutes because the night guard sleeps. Breakfast is served with extremely loud salsa music, with no consideration for resting guests. The beach photos are also misleading. The real beach is cluttered with old canopy structures and scattered litter, nothing like the clean shoreline shown online. I booked two nights but left after the first and preferred to lose my money rather than stay longer. I did not eat the breakfast, as the overall hygiene was so poor that I did not want to risk getting sick. In short, this property does not deliver what it advertises and is not suitable for travelers who expect reliability, comfort, hygiene, or even basic professionalism.
