It was a lovely little hotel in a cute village, the staff were super friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of choice. The room was nice & the bed was comfy with tea/coffee, iron, hairdryer etc. However the room is definitely in need of a major refresh in decorating. The hot tap barely came out, the shower head holder was so loose it came off the wall, there was some mouldy patches in the shower and one of the towels had what looked like blood stains. Other than those odd issues, the rest of the stay was lovely and we would stay there again!

What a delightful place to stay with a couple of pubs close by and within walking distance to Wensleydale Creamery. Breakfast was easy with your order for hot breakfast taken in the morning and a selection of cereal, toast etc. Would definitely use this place again.

This is a good fairly basic hotel that’s right in the centre of Hawes. Good location for walking. Some good pubs nearby for evening meals.

Hotel is in poor condition and needs renovation. We had no hot water in the shower or the basin. Did complain but told nothing could be done as hotel was full. I won’t be helping to fill it again !

The property looked very tired and well worn inside. The room carpet had lots of stains and marks, scuffs on walls and bed stead. Bathroom had bad black mould on tiles and shower screen. Hairs in sink, bath and on bathroom cabinet. Big crack in bath. Bedding very clean and comfortable. Breakfast very good and made to order. Staff member who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful.

The property was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was a combination of a buffet and cooked to order. There was a good choice and plentiful. Hawes itself suits adults better than children although the Wensleydale Cheesery is good for all ages.

Booked a one night stay at Crocketts hotel. We were given room 5, which was small and dark. We over looked the front of the hotel. Plenty of parking on the main road. I have given 2 stars. One for the location, its right in the centre of the village and one for the breakfast which my husband enjoyed. Our room had peeling paint, mold on the walls and wallpaper. The bathroom shower head was black with mold as were the walls. The toilet made a weird noise after flushing and the hot tap had been placed too near the sink, so you had to fill the sink to use the hot water. Im glad we only booked for one night. I wouldn't book again.
