Room was great, everything we needed, lovely & central, check in quick & parking although expensive was secure & onsite.
The only let down was breakfast, the whole experience was awful, I know it says included in the price which was a bonus these days but there is not enough room for the number of guests, we had to sit on a very low uncomfortable table in the bar area, the choice of food was limited, huge queues for the 2 coffee machines, no room to move, the second morning we went down at 7am to just get a table & have a more relaxing experience, much better idea but we really didn’t want to be up that early on holiday but couldn’t face another breakfast like we had the day before, only problem this day was the waitress, there were 2 of them, one arrived on shift about 7, quite obviously didn’t want to be there & stood to the side, arms folded & a face liked she had been slapped, then moaned loudly to her co worker about being there, someone complained that the milk was off in the churn, waitress didnt really care, poor woman had to ask for fresh milk for her coffee, the fruit juice on offer tasted like squash, no flavour whatsoever, I think the liquid breakfast stuff was out all night & not replenished, so breakfast needs attention, it either needs to be charged for to ease the amount of people arriving or up their game on what’s on offer, quality hotels can include breakfast but this hotel is not of that calibre.
Overall loved Liverpool, would not return to hotel.
