Everything - the room, the staff, the food, the pool, the grounds - was excellent. We stayed here 30 years ago and loved it. I do wish they would reopen the entrance to the ruins that is on the grounds though!

Super hospitable staff, excellent service and concierges that really went above and beyond. It felt a lot like those classic old traditional hotels—which is consistent since Mayaland is one of the first at Chichen Itza and has a long history of catering to a star-studded array of guests on the past.

A charming, peaceful and elegant hotel, that clearly had a story history with many dignitaries and movie stars having stayed there in the past. The room was large and very clean with the exception of some strange fragments of something maybe from the ceiling in the tub. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the pool. There is a spectacular collection of peacocks roaming around by the restaurant.
