Although there is a new renovation, some electricity applicances still need to improve in maintainance. In the hotel restaurant, it seems there is lack of human resource in servicing of breakfast in the morning. BTW, I'm quite appreciate with the service of all the staff in this hotel. They are kind and helpful.

Wonderful staff, disappointing room
Ten stars for the staff all of whom were super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the people working in the bar/restaurant Sunday afternoon/evening. They were both so nice! Also the gentleman who checked me out of my room early Monday morning. Unfortunately the room was disappointing. The windows were tiny and faced another building which made me feel claustrophobic. The room temperature was too warm and there was no guidance on how to adjust the temperature. There were numerous stains on the carpet and some of the glassware had a grey residue on it (not unclean, likely soap residue). On the upside the towels were very soft and luxurious and the welcome pastel de nata, welcome drink and parting gift were all very nice touches. This was my third stay in Lisbon but not my favorite hotel. While I wouldn’t refuse to stay here again I’d definitely upgrade to a room with a view which would be more expensive. Also the neighborhood , while convenient, was super touristy. Lovely views from the restaurant though!

Gorgeous hotel great view amazing service
This place is simply amazing and pristine. The top floor room with terrace (same level as the rooftop bar) had a great view of the historic Lisbon city with houses and red tiles. Service at the front desk, rooftop bar and breakfast place was just magnificent and flawless with all top amnesties. The room that we stayed on the 7th floor with huge private terrace was expensive but worth it just because how the nice the interior of the room was, spacious, huge patio and great service. Kayla at the front desk was simply the bes, she was super nice, very helpful in answering all our typical tourist like questions on the surrounding areas, direction to restaurants and places to go etc. Our flight reached Lisbon in the morning but our room was not ready for early checkin. She kept our luggage and let us use the restroom to freshen up and also texted and communicated with us the whole time until the room was ready while we wondered around the nearby areas and had drinks and ate lunch. If we ever go back to beautiful and friendly Lisbon and decide to stay near baixa chiado area, I will definitely stay here again!

We stayed for nine days at Hotel do Chiado, with a few days in between in Porto. The breakfast room has spectacular views, as well as very nice breakfast food. The location of the hotel is terrific--in the heart of Lisbon. The staff extremely was friendly and helpful.

Hotel do Chiado was clean, quiet, well appointed, well kept, and had excellent friendly staff! Great food, as well. Centrally located, and close to many sights and the train station was a short walk. The surrounding area could be quite busy and traffic congested at times. Stepping into the hotel though, made you forget about all the commotion, as it was well insulated from outside noise. I had a nice, peaceful stay. Definitely would recommend them, and would certainly stay there again. Only one minor complaint, and I do mean minor. No ice machine! I like lot's of ice for my beverages. Again, a minor detail. Go stay there. you'll love it.

We love to stay here again
We love to stay this hotel, the room is so big and roomy, we like these is a extra door to separate the room from the both bedroom, it is super clean, the staff are so friendly and we felt so welcome, very helpful too, the breakfast is fantastic, the bar sitting areas has stunning views….
