All good, especially the location next to the train station and a short walk to the bus station needed early next morning. But my nights stay was interrupted at 2am by a water leak from the room above which continued all early morning making it very difficult to sleep. Reported it first thing to a property manager who seemed concern but there was no move to compensate for the situation ( a free breakfast as I was up already or something similar). Good have been a very good stay except for a that problem which did put a different complexion on the hotel. Reception check in and out was ok but not particularly welcoming.

Disappointed
This hotel needs a serious make over. The room we had did not feel clean, bed was clean and comfortable but thats about it. The windows were so dirty you could only just see the alleyway below. The decor is old and outdated and peeling, an old radiator is still on the wall. It was only one night so we accepted it but was disappointed! I'm told there are better rooms on the 2nd floor, maybe they are making their way to the 3rd floor? As far as we could see the only thing going for this hotel is the railway station so close and being in the middle of town!!

Not the room I booked
I booked 2 single night stays this month. In both cases I booked a ‘standard double’ room and on both occasions they tried to give me a ‘cozy’ double. It was changed when I pointed out the issue but on the second occasion the room was still tiny. Making the same error twice appears deliberate.

Super amazing hotel. Right in the middle of city center. Next to public transportation and the rail line is right there. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It has a grand stair case that is well noticeable as you walk in. Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic venue. Convenient location: a very short walk from the train station and right in the city centre. Food and service in restaurant was excellent. This was our second stay here and will likely be back.

Great Location in Inverness
This is an older property with lots of charm. The room was large, comfortable and clean. I thought that it was going to be noisy because of the proximity to the train station but we never heard a train our entire stay. The on site restaurant was very good. We ate there several times during our stay. The lobby was gorgeous as pictured on the site.

Well located
It was good. The hotel is older but well maintained. The food at the Ash restaurant is very good. The hotel is well situated in Inverness, easy walking distance to the castle , cathedral and Ness walk.

Lovely dog friendly hotel with friendly staff!
Had a great stay, in a beautiful large room! Great service and friendly staff! We traveled with our dog and there was no issues. Inverness is a beautiful place to visit and bring your dog! Only low point was that sleep was interrupted from loud outside noise as we stayed on a Saturday night, before running the marathon, (could be helped with double glazing?) Continental breakfast was disappointing. Nevertheless really liked the hotel and would stay here again, but maybe with earplugs.

She’s ok… next to a busy and loud train station. A few homeless people loitering around outside the hotel. There are 5 parking spots for the hotel, we did get lucky one night. She’s definitely seen better days, and is probably due for a face lift. The staff were nice, but the restaurant folks needed a hug for sure. It was convenient to shops and food, but most shops were closed by 6. Overall I would stay some place else next time.

Disappointing stay as unexpectedly there was no parking available outside the hotel. We had to double park while Taxi tooted horns at us as we unloaded the car and then park in a public carparking building for £8, 5 minutes walk away. We had made a booking through expedia for 2 adults and 1 child and had prepaid for the room. When we arrived the hotel charged us an additional £30 for the third person even though the room booked had 2 double beds in it and did not require an extra bed made up. The room was fine and bathroom spacious. We would have chosen another hotel if we had been aware of the lack of parking and additional charges before the booking payment had been made.
