★☆ DO NOT STAY HERE - WORST HOTEL IN DOWNTOWN*
I stayed at *Sun and Sands Downtown Dubai* and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
*The room was horrible and dirty.* The bathroom was especially bad - unclean, stained, and it smelled. There were *no toiletries at all*. Not even soap or shampoo.
*The TV didn’t work.* When we complained at reception they said “the technician will come.” Spoiler: the technician never came. At all.
*Noise everywhere.* You could hear everything from the hallway and other rooms. Zero peace, zero sleep.
When you tell staff about any problem they just nod and do nothing.
*My advice to travelers: do whatever you can to avoid this hotel.* No matter how cheap it is or how tight your budget is, please add a little bit more money and stay somewhere else. The Deira area has numerous much nicer hotels for not much more.
I’m saying this with every breath in me: *If you want comfort and value for money, avoid this useless hotel.* If you don’t care about comfort and just want the cheapest place possible, then fine. But for everyone else, stay away.
