I can't speak on the hotel itself as I did not stay here, but what I can comment on is my experience with the Wyndham Grand.
I originally booked a room here for 1 night flying into Toronto. I was really looking forward to staying here for the amenities and proximity to the casino and the falls. A week before my stay, I was contacted saying I was rebooked at the Embassy Suites due to wildfire evacuees. Embassy provided similar amenities and was right next door, so I was OK with the upgrade. I was told there would be no issues at check-in.
After traveling all day, I showed up to the Embassy and they didn't have my reservation. After 30 minutes, I was told I was rebooked again at the Doubletree. While a fine hotel, it was a mile away - far enough to not be close to anything. I was told I should have received another call, but I didn't, so it was chaotic and I traveled a very long away to be left without direction.
While this hotel looks nice, their communication is horrible and you may show up not being able to stay.
