This was a true gem of a hotel that everybody should stay at if you’re in the area! I absolutely LOVED this place! It is filled with charm and ambiance and the owners/managers are so friendly. Breakfast is included and it’s very convenient to I-70. This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! I wish I could have stayed a few more days! Old quaint hotel. Very clean, full breakfast included in room price. Be reminded, NO TV in room but we had our laptop and were able to stream a movie. We stayed here in conjunction with seeing a show at The Lyceum in Arrow Rock.

The Iron Horse Hotel/B&B is an absolute treat! The furnishings are gorgeous. The room was comfortable with nice thoughtful touches. We stayed in room 5 which had roof access to a seating area. The breakfast was served in a lovely dining room. The general manager and her staff made our stay enjoyable !! The service was above and beyond!! We found a new favorite!!

A fantastic blast from the past!
My family really enjoyed our stay. The setting of the town and hotel/bed and breakfast was so fun. It takes you back a little for sure. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed exploring the town. There are no tvs in the rooms so it forced the kids and us to explore. We found the fun museums and businesses around as well as the park at the school. We chose to drive about 6 miles to Arrow Rock for supper and ate at Catalpa. We would definitely eat at Catalpa again. The next morning we enjoyed exploring more in Blackwater, sitting on the rooftop balcony, playing cards and thouroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Nichole was so welcoming and a fantastic host. My wife is planning a return visit soon with her friend.
