Nice little place for our short stay

Quaint little place. Very clean. Shared bathroom but never had an issue with occupancy. Water pressure good. Always had hot water. Staff was nice. Easy parking.

The bed and room were very comfortable. This is right across the street from a nice steakhouse and a very cute coffee/ breakfast creperie. The Driftwood had lots of character. It was not at all what I expected but sometimes good things are like that. The people were so nice and helpful! They booked dinner reservations for me and a bird/ boating tour in Halibut Cove. I’d stay here again.

I have stayed in Homer many times and somehow missed this gem. The staff were helpful. The property has beautiful views right off the beach. The room was comfortable and there were multiple dining options nearby. We’ll be staying here on our next trip.

Be prepared to share a bathroom

I was not aware there were shared bathrooms. The bed was a bunk bed that didn't allow me to setup in bed. There were no instructions for accessing the TV channels.

It is what it is. An old building with small rooms, narrow stairway, shared bathroom. There is nothing to complain about, we enjoyed the one night we spent and are grateful they had a vacancy. Its just not a 5 star facility, but plenty good for the price.

Look at fine print. They have rooms with shared bathrooms. Didnt see this when booking. And the pictures on their page are not accurate to the room you get. But the staff was very pleasant.

Great location, reasonable prices, very clean and the staff was extremely accommodating, especially for early hours to leave on our tour the next day. The coffee and snack bar in the lobby was an added bonus of convenience. Walkable to many restaurants and a beach and a short drive from the spit. Would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at the Driftwood Inn Lodge. Friendly, helpful staff offered a free room upgrade when we arrived to help celebrate a special occasion. Homer is an awesome place and the Driftwood is where I’ll stay every time from now on!

The device to regulate the temperature was not working. Fourniture very old. Difficult to close and open the door. Personnel do not pay attention to customers. Not good informations where to have breakfast. Without shampoo in the shouver. We discovered only at check in that there was no private restroom and we payed 60$ more to have it.
