The property is a cute boutique hotel with a lively staff. The rooms/suites are spacious and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. There were plumbing issues, low water pressure and our toilet did not flush well. Even after the repairs, the toilet did not flush completely and there was an awful stench that lingered from the plumbing system. There isn't an elevator and the staircase is spiraled, so its recommended to be fit to tackle the stairs daily.
The bar restaurant was lively each day. The cocktails were delish and the food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool honestly is what makes this property special. The pool was heated and backs up to the ocean giving the illusion of an infinity pool and it was quite relaxing.
The location is ideal because it is walking distance to the touristy area, but you could also mingle with the locals along the way, which is what we did.
I would like to give a special thanks to a few of the staff members who made our trip memorable: Nathan, Thee Tender of the Bar (I couldn't simply could diminish his position as a regular bartender), was awesome. He was so informative and gave us such great suggestions for the area. Nathan made us feel like family and we missed him when he wasn't there. Rodrick was another rock star tender/server. He ensured that our glasses and bellies were full and did so with a huge smile. Kim was our server for breakfast each morning and she was also very sweet.
