This is a retro hotel on old Route 66. It’s basic, clean, reasonably quiet (train runs on other side of the highway), & safe. Good for one or two night stay. Beds are comfortable, comfy pillows, good shower, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, & decent ac. Again, there are NO frills so if you need that stay somewhere else & don’t complain about it.
After being cooped up in a car all day, we enjoy a walk. It’s about half a mile to restaurants from the hotel. It’s Well lit, good sidewalk & the staff says safe. We’ve done that a couple times & enjoyed it.
