La Casa di Melo was our first stay at an agriturismo and without a doubt, one of the highlights on a 10 day Sicilian vacation. The fixed price dinner was the best we had and the easy going service was extremely pleasing and relaxing. Breakfast was equally outstanding with all types of homemade, fresh Sicilian goodiesI I wish we had been able to spend more time and use the pool and walk the orchards.

This is a unique property which is somewhat isolated but about 20 minutes from Syracusa and we were able to get an Uber pretty easily. We had a rental car and went to Arenella Beach which was great experience which I feel was a real authentic Sicily lido experience. We paid 5 euro for the parking 25 euro for 2 chairs. They had a man making very good pizza and a restaurant with full bar to sit in (food court set up). The pool at the hotel is very nice and huge and heated. Our room had a hot tub...

Is this one of the best hotels in the world?15 minutes from Siracusa, in a wonderful position facing the bay the hotel is in a beautiful carefully planned garden. The 90 rooms are spread in the garden, each a building with just ground floor. We had a large room for three and a large bathroom. Elegant and efficient, excellent bed and private balcony. The hotel has a reception and a restaurant building. All is close, 200m. Swimming pool. We were sorry not to have more time here. . It has 2 beautiful pools and the room was large and had a high wooden ceiling which was very attractive. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. I don't know why they picked the location but it's close to Syracuse yet you're in the countryside.

We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t have time to use the spa but we did go to the outdoor pool for a bit. The pool was amazing and the outdoor bar was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good and the room overlooked the race track so you can watch the horses warm up in the morning. It was an overall excellent hotel for the price.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Floridia
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly months to visit Florida are January, February, and November, when hotel prices are lower. For a great value for money experience, plan to stay for at least 3 to 4 days to fully explore Florida's key historical and cultural landmarks, such as its fascinating museums. During this time, you might find that prices could drop even further, making it an excellent choice for those traveling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore last-minute deals to Floridia, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, so you’re more likely to catch any savings opportunities. With the Smart Shopping tool available in the app, you can compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring that you receive notifications if prices drop or rooms become available, making it easier to plan that spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a Florida hotel. If you're in search of something special, boutique hotels can provide a more personalized experience and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that could offer more affordable options to help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center generally cost more, but with Floridia's outstanding public transportation options, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther out that’s still well-connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
