Clean, Cozy, Comfy Stay!
Ron was the best host we have EVER had at a motel! He called prior to our arrival to check in on our travels. He was friendly, cheerful, and made our stay feel like we were at home. We arrived late evening and were invited to make s’mores over an open fire pit on the motel grounds. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. We awoke rested, refreshed and ready to continue our journey. Definitely bookmarking this motel for the next time we travel through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula!

Ronn was a wonderful host providing us with a clean comfortable room. There was a fire pit lit as the sun went down encouraging guests to gather and chat. The vintage looking motel provided old-timey service and comfort with a smile and nice price.

Not your typical motel A++
Overcame my ‘no motels ever’ rule to stay here. Adorable little spot with super warm welcome and service. Great bed, sheets, pillows you don’t always see in a roadside motel. Small room but nice outdoor seating and fire pit. Thank you for the great stay.

What a gem!
Clean rooms and comfy beds. Some nights there is a bonfire with s’mores kits provided. Bag toss boards available to play as well. Just outside of Manistique city limits, so it’s quieter & still only a 5-7min drive to downtown. The owner is a super nice guy and made us feel so welcome. There is an ice machine in the office which provides a coffee bar & some light breakfast items in the mornings. We stayed with our 3 kids & dog, and we hope to stay again - we loved exploring the UP, & this was a great “home base!”

This is an older motel, but it has been well maintained and the manager is excellent! He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are clean, shower was great. My second time staying here and will definitely return.

Great spot in the U.P.
The friendly managers have taken excellent care in updating a vintage roadside motel into a chic place to spend a night or two. The knotty pine wall in the bedroom gave it a woodsy vibe. They have adirondack chairs and a firepit too. It is set back a bit from U.S. 2 and has good windows so we found it quiet for sleeping.
