Zimmer mit Aussicht

Jetzt über die Ostertage sind viele Jamaikaner angereist. Da war dann etwas viel Trubel. Sonst sehr angenehm, die Strandbar zwar etwas laut, aber abends zu guter Zeit ruhig(er). Europäisches oder jamaikanisches Frühstück. Lunch- und Abendessen-Karte nicht ganz günstig, aber für mich als Europäer mit guter Auswahl. Näher am Meer kann ein Hotel nicht sein. Schmaler Strand vor dem Haus, daneben ein Traumstrand. Zufahrt ok, genügend Parkplätze. Sicherheit gewährleistet. Bringe USD mit, für Depot und Eintritte wie z.B. Dunn River Falls.

Very disappointed

It’s a 3 star hotel advertising and charging like a 5 star hotel. I paid for a deluxe room which was on 3rd floor. I have a bad knee so asked to be put on first floor. They do not offer deluxe rooms on first floor so was downgraded to a premium room which was directly across from the bar. Music was loud but stopped around 9:30pm. Food prices very high for quality of food. Free breakfast was adequate. Beach sand was gravelly and difficult to get into and out of due to the level of gravel you had to go thru which was at an incline. It clearly needs upgrades. The sliders to verandas are old and heavy. Very difficult to open. Bath towels only provided in rooms. Had to ask for face cloths and smaller face towels. Laundry staff stated they don’t provide them in the room because guests steal them. Could only get U-tube on Tv even after someone checked it out. Asked for a credit to my card several times due to the downgrade. It was still not addressed when at the time of check out. I would not recommend this hotel for what they are charging until they upgrade to the level equal to the cost of staying there.

Property is in a secluded corner right next to the white river, the building next to it is abandoned. Not the safest place. My hotel room had no milk or conditioner (only shampoo and body wash) there is a $25USD deposit fee which is not mentioned when you book via the app. Breakfast options are limited to eggs, bacon and toast.

I very much like the property and security. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunity two days of toilet plumbing issue did rate a negative experience. I must say the plumbing issue was taken care of but not timely enough and it took two service attemps to get it fixed. I was nicely given a guest recovery bar complementary drink. If not for the plumbing issues,this would be rated very good.

This place is difficult to find because you have to go from the other end of the road. If you didn’t go underneath a bridge past all the rafting folks you are not on the right path. They give you a wrist band to know you are a guest. There are no towels in the room so you will have to ask. Free breakfast is nice I guess. The bathroom door didn’t close in the room. I was looking for a quick and peaceful escape, and this place turned out to be the ideal spot. The beach is just steps away, with the calming sound of waves creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The accommodations were cozy and exuded good vibes all around. The food provided was absolutely finger-licking good, adding a delightful culinary touch to the experience. The bar set the tone with great music that truly captured the essence of Jamaica. The stunning views of the water, paired with the rhythmic crashing of the waves, provided exactly the kind of serenity I needed. Within walking distance, I discovered the White River, where local food and river rafting—an absolute must-try—added to the adventure. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. It was a wonderful stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning!
