Nice resort, Staff need training

The resort is a beautiful piece of property and offers several activities daily. Recently there is new ownership and the restaurant employees all act as thought they've never worked in a restaurant before--they ignore customers, take wrong orders (at every meal), and instead of having one staff for a certain area of the restaurant, they have several staff who don't know if you've been served yet or not and you have to beg to get an order in. With meals being a highlight of a vacation at a resort, this made the trip frustrating. The snorkeling here is great. The dive shop is helpful. The activities are plentiful.

Our bure was clean and the air conditioning worked amazing. Things were well laid out. When I come back I am not staying anyone else but here, and that's because of the people you have on your team. Your kids club ladies - Archie and Mila are the most amazing ladies. Our children don't want anything to do with us right now, in a good way. Ashika, Geeta and the rest of the staff are nothing short of top notch.

The staff knew my name instantly, the kindness and service was top notch. I couldnt have had a nicer experience. The management to the grounds crew all said bula and were just happy and pleasant. The community in Savusavu is just friendly, helpful and made me feel like i was home. Bula Vinaka, see you next time!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Koro Sun Resort. The staff are so friendly, always greeting us with smiles (and first name basis after only a few days). They went out of their way to make sure our needs are being met. As far as the property is concerned, we stayed in EB4 (bure looking over the water (amazing view and sunsets). There were great excursions available but we got our most enjoyment from hiking into the rain forest, snorkeling and paddle boarding every day. Just an overall great vacation.

The place was awesome for someone who likes to relax and detach from the hassle and buzzes, however, my only concern is the safety of you walking around even at the front of the suit where my family stayed a coconut fruit was falling every day, I think each coconut tree, fruits should be removed for everybody safety. The rest were cool. Friendly staff and nice fresh food.

Do not spend your vacation at Koro Sun

Poor condition, lots of insects in the room. Got badly stang by the flys in the room at night which caused a skin allergy that ruined my vacation. Air-condition in the room is super loud, so we had to turn it off in the night in order to sleep, however due hot temperatures in Fiji, the sleep at night was not well. There was also no WiFi in the room, KSR Wi-Fi signal is completely lost in my room so we ended staying in the lobby for most of the time in order to use the internet. Breakfast was awful as well. Very limited food choices, only protein source is boiled eggs and hams with very high sodium content. Very crap breakfast. Overall, Koro sun resort isn’t a great option to stay. Do not recommend.

The property is beautifully landscaped, with lovely beachfront and lagoon property. The room (we were in an Edgewater Villa) was spacious, clean and well-appointed, with the exception of the folding bed, which was almost completely springs. Problems we had at the resort - during low tide, it is difficult to find anywhere to swim. The tide makes the Edgewater properties no longer over water at all. We ate mostly at the beach bar, and the food was only OK. We didn't eat at the restaurant, as you need to order food ahead of time, and reserve a specific dinner time, and on vacation we like to have the flexibility to eat when we get hungry, and order what we like at that time. We also found it somewhat difficult to get straight answers from staff, such as when our room would be ready, if we could do some fishing (my son was told for 3 days that they would be getting bait, and told to keep returning to the activities shop to check in, but to no avail). The excursion to the waterfall and village was enjoyable.

Had a great stay overall in a floating bure really enjoyed my stay. The marine life especially at night is impressive. Stayed in FB1 which faces out the inlet. Experiencing the tide changes and just sitting on the deck was great. The adults only pool and ocean access at low tide was good if you just want to walk out in the water. My traditional massage with Gill (Jill) is my new number one massage ever. I had the traditional Fijian one. The hospitality staff were lovely and accommodating the highlight was the lovo night with the visiting villagers putting on that traditional experience I'm sure most people imagine in their heads. The farewell song was lovely to wrap up a great trip to Savusavu. To Wayne and all the staff thank you.

Koro Sun Resort provided a lovely, relaxing, and welcoming stay. From the moment we arrived at the tiny Suvasuva Airport we knew the highlight of our stay would be the warm, friendly Fijian staff. Our accommodations in an edgewater floating burre was absolutely perfect for us- from the classic wood and fresh flower finishes to a floating deck with comfortable chairs and your own kayak ready to use at your pleasure. The bed was super comfortable. The small in room lounge area was perfect to get a little work done while allowing views out the glass door cove. The combination of air conditioning and plenty of louvered windows kept the space feeling cool and comfortable. The Rainforest Spa, and my incredible provider Jill, created a most relaxing and unique spa experience with the traditional Tijian Bobo massage and the Nama Banana Leaf Body Wrap. Our stay was just two perfect nights and nearly three full days swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and simply enjoying this small slice of island paradise.

Our stay at Koro Sun Resort was amazing! The view from our Edgewater Bure was gorgeous, and the snorkeling and kayaking at the resort were great. We got the meal plan and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed the paid activities we chose, snorkeling at Split Rock and visiting a local village and waterfall. Our massages at the Rainforest Spa were fantastic. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. I would highly recommend the Koro Sun!

Short review: We loved this resort and would book there again. Detailed Review: We booked this property for 10 days for our honeymoon. We were set on a tropical overwater bungalow-type property, and this had the best price and accessibility of those options. Transportation: Arriving here requires a connecting flight from Nadi or Suva on the smallest commercial plane you've ever been on. However, the flight is quite beautiful and quick and when you land, there is a free shuttle waiting to take you to the resort (and back when you leave). The only on-site transportation is excursions booked through the resort or a bus that costs FJD2.50 each way. Cars are only allowed for the super-nice properties with very steep driveways, I understand. Accommodations: This is clearly a

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Koro Sun Resort and absolutely loved Fiji — it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip! Overall, the experience was fabulous. We met incredible people, immersed ourselves in the culture, and loved how laid-back everything was. We wanted to share a pros and cons list for an honest review. **Pros:** - We loved kayaking to nearby islands! Renting the kayak and exploring beaches on our own was such a fun adventure. - We made amazing friends, both at the resort and in the surrounding villages. Everyone was so welcoming and felt like family by the end of our stay. Special shoutout to Salote, Philippe, the Sandbar restaurant staff, Manu, Silvi, and Caleb at the activities center — they were all so kind and made our experience even better! - Fiji itself is absolutely stunning. The crystal-clear water, the lush greenery, and the relaxing vibe made it feel like paradise. The resort amenities, like the pool and daily activities, were great additions. - The spa was incredible. I had one of the best massages ever, and we even got a complimentary second massage from Geeta (spa manager), who was so sweet for helping with a spa photoshoot. The staff at this resort is top notch!!! We travel all over the world & cannot say enough about the employees. They make you feel warm/welcomed instantly & everyone remembers your name.
