Hated it! Paid To Move Immediately!

This place is only for young adults traveling in groups or older adults who desire to live the fast don't care party life. The staff was friendly and helpful more so after we asked for a refund to leave. If you are traveling alone this is not a place for you. I am on the process of trying to receive my refund now. I didn't stay there 1 hour, i didn't feel it was a place for me. They offered all assistance to accomodate us after we told them we were leaving none before when we asked to be close together. The pictures online are a cimplete fake. That is not the place you will get. Be careful.

Skip this property and Jamaica

This resort was recommended as one of the better all-inclusives in Jamaica. It was right across from an included access to the only beach on the strip in Montego Bay. (you still have to pay for beach, chairs, and umbrellas) The property is very rundown, and the services are in name only. The quality of everything was very poor. I expected a lot more for the price. The bathroom didn’t even have a toilet paper holder or any type of hook or shelf to hang or place anything. Linens were threadbare. The amenities like the “all day café” and “grill” were a joke. The buffet was extremely minimal and lacked cleanliness. Drinks weren’t good either. All of the equipment at the gym was broken, except the free weights and if you go there, make sure you wear bug spray! My recommendation would be to skip Jamaica entirely unless you’re trying to go to every country in the world. What you get for the price is not good. It also lacks safety. The pool is tiny, so is the beach. Montego Bay is definitely not a beach destination. There are so many better beaches on other Caribbean islands. Because the hotel is across the street from the beach, it doesn’t offer an ocean view and the beach closes at 5 PM, long before sunset. Only positive I can think of is that the air conditioner worked. I can’t imagine what you would do if you were stuck here in bad weather. There is nothing to do indoors.

Worst “hotel” experience ever.

Honestly the worst “hotel” experience ive ever encountered. Especially for the money spent. Very old and not maintained property. It doesn’t even qualify as a motel let alone a resort with all inclusive. At dinner there wasn’t tables enough, so we went out to eat. Worst all inclusive ever, I had to make myself drinks since nobody was at the poolbar. The pool was dirty and so was the “hot tub”, if we can call it that. I never review, as I believe if you don’t have something good to say, don’t say it. But this was of the charts bad. And I only had one night otherwise I would have canceled my stay their for sure. To go to the beach you have you cross the road and pay for chairs and umbrella at the beach, and also no beach-bar so your all inclusive is not really useful if you like to stay at the beach. Breakfast was so terrible and so was lunch. For dinner we went out - says a lot when it is all inclusive. To end on a positive note, it was close to the airport.

Needs improvement

First the checkin was ok...the manager did her best to accommodate. The parkibg was horrible, people blocking us in and we had to wait for them to move vehicles. The food was horrible, the pastries in cafe was stale. The room overall was ok. I would not recommend.

The location of Deja Resort is great. Located in the Hip Strip. Walking distance to many local hot spots. Access to the Doctor Cave beach is easy. Great for snorkeling, as a lot of snorkeling tours stop just outside the swimming area. The staff were friendly and helpful.
