Worst Western, ever

1. several dry pee dots on the toilet seat on the first day. 2. equipment. (1)air-condition can't be used cause it said it's under central control, yet it made me feel cold at night. (2)the fridge's not cold, so we had to dump our milk. (3)faucet in the kitchen was too near the wall to use. Ex. I have to wash an apple "against the wall". (4)security box's not electronic. (5)shower hot water came out when the faucet was turned counterclockwise, whereas it's opposite to that of the faucet in the sink in the kitchen! (6)No washing foam nor soap provided in the kitchen. (7)bed way too soft my husband replied to me"it had lost the ability to sustain."(compared with his)(two beds combined) Spring's broken. (8)room small. 3.front desk not friendly. (1)front desk said" go to the room, you have to go across this garden, take the lift, go up to the second floor. Then go across that garden, take the lift and go to the second floor." But after we crossed the first garden, we can't find the lift. So I went back. I asked "Do you have a lift?" The man replied "MY COLLEAGUE TOLD YOU, turn right, cross..." (that means, we should "turn right at the entrance" before went across it.) I feel bad about that. I was just trying to look for help politely. (2)front desk seldom greeted us. 4 Poor WIFI. 5 Noisy We can hear what other guests doing. 6 careless housekeeping One day, we found there's only one toilet paper.

We were supposed to be on the 5th floor but the elevator was out of order so we were offered a room on the ground floor instead. My husband had an injured ankle so we accepted that option. Reluctantly. It was called an upgrade as the room was bigger. The extra bunk beds did not do much for us. The only window faced the inner court yard where everybody could look into our room unless you drew the curtains shut which made the room dark. Because of lack of elevator there was a lot of foot traffic. Also - at dawn (!) - the rolling suit cases over the cobble stones in the court yard woke one up. A dark room in the morning ... that's sad. Also, the breakfast room has no windows, is small and was so packed that moving around was very difficult. The staff is super friendly, the available parking was extremely helpful and appreciated.

Warm welcome and good bye. Wonderful staff good feeling all around area, breakfast was delicious. Close walk to many amenities the city offers as well as local grocery, coffee, trains. Had a great visit!

Malgré le calme de l’hôtel c’est Bien trop cher pour la proposition faite. Au 5 eme étage mais l’ascenseur ne fonctionne pas… Chambre ok. Sans plus. Les draps sont propres mais des taches sont présentes. Salle de bain avec baignoire et sèche cheveux d’un autre âge. Dommage !!

Great experience

I had the best experience staying in Le Patio hotel. The room was huge for myself. Thank you so much if it was an upgrade. Everything was extremely clean and I loved the natural courtyard. I will come back for sure.

Presque parfait

Accueil, réception, géographie, style au top Le moins : l’insonorisation proche des HLM des années 80. On entend absolument tous les bruits. Et le vis à vis est constant puisque chaque chambre est autour d’un patio rectangulaire donc si on tire pas les rideaux opaques, tout le monde se voit. Le plus : proximité de tout, quartier très sympa, beaucoup de végétation extérieure donc reposant pour les yeux. Et aussi l’installation d’une petite cuisine très pratique. Le plus plus : un design de chambre très japonais : sobre, fonctionnel, élégant J’aimerai donner une seconde chance pour l’originalité du lieu. Je recommande de prendre vos boules quies. Merci à l’équipe sérieuse et attentionnée qui a entreposé nos bagages dès le matin.

Perfect Parisienne experience

What a great hotel, nothing to see from the outside but once you are inside it is beautiful. The staff at reception were great, we tried some French and they helped out! The room was superb for 3 people and always clean. The courtyard is beautiful very atmospheric. The location is close to several lovely cafes and restaurants, we loved les Tres Freres nearby. Great location for Nation and other Metro stops which mean you can get anywhere easily including Disney.

Un bon séjour !

l est indiqué qu'il y a un ascenseur mais c'est faux. Pas pour toutes les chambres. Pour nous rendre à la chambre 22, nous avons dû monter 2 étages à pieds avec nos bagages. Les escaliers en colimaçon nous ont posé problème tout au long de notre séjour et nous n'avons pas pu profiter du patio ( charmant d'ailleurs ) autant que nous l'aurions voulu. Il est indiqué : "pas de service d'entretien", mais en fait il y en a un. Près de l'évier de la kitchenette, il y a un butoir de porte presque invisible et quand on utilise l'évier pieds nus, ça fait mal . Le frigo a gelé nos jus et lait en une nuit. En tant que membre Gold hotel.com, une bouteille de vin nous avait été promise mais comme il n'y en avait pas, j'ai dû aller la demander ( pas très chic ! Mais cela dit, on me l'a donnée immédiatement ! ).Nous devions aussi être sur-classés en fonction des disponibilités, mais la reception ne nous en a pas parlé. Les chambres communiquent, l'une à côté de l'autre. Nous aimons nous coucher tard. Cela n'a pas plu à nos voisins. A nous non plus : une meilleure insonorisation mettrait tout le monde d'accord ! Sinon, la chambre est plutôt spacieuse et confortable. La kitchenette est pratique. La salle de bains aussi. Le lit est confortable. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable. La réception, le hall et le patio sont très agréables et l'hôtel idéalement situé.

Spacious Family Room, but some drawbacks

The location was convenient, close to the Metro station, though the entrance to the hotel’s parking was hard to find. Onsite parking is not guaranteed, but we were lucky to get a spot during our stay. The family room was larger than expected and the reception staff were nice. However, the boiler is a storage type, so the hot water runs out quickly — after one person takes a shower, it takes quite a long time to reheat before the next person can use it. This made showering quite inconvenient.
