The best thing about this property are the stylings and practicality of the rooms, the location and view, and the wonderful restaurant renovations. It's a beautifully done restaurant with great food and cocktails for dinner. The negatives would be the service which varies person to person, the dated areas of the hotel that still need some major updating and cleaning, and the fact that there is no relief area for pets as mentioned. There were a lot of inconsistencies throughout our stay. This hotel could be a 5 and its a gem of a property, but I think they just need to get it together from a customer service standpoint and manage their team better. For an example, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was not inexpensive, and saw our waiter once. Someone else brought us our food and he never checked on us so we could reorder drinks etc. We had to track him down for the check. The restaurant wasnt even remotely busy at that time. We saw him "around" but never did he tend to us other than taking our order. No one else checked on us at all.
