Had to share a bathroom with others staying there. Stairs were a little hard for me with my 2 replacement hips and a knee.

First of all, there is no “front desk.” This is a residential home and when you arrive, the doors were unlocked and we let ourselves in. I had to knock on her personal home for her to come out and run my credit card on a square attached to her phone. We had to leave the apartment unlocked while golfing because we couldn’t find the keys to lock up.
There was a musty smell. The beds were horrible, our backs hurt. And this place definitely does not sleep 6. There was a full bed in the main room, with bunk beds in a closet behind a curtain and a pull out cot in the closet.
The chairs at the “dining room table” were all completely broken and we had to bring the chairs from outside inside to sit on.
The bathroom was tiny and not well lit and the shower barely turned on and was broken and spraying water everywhere.
If you’re looking for a clean cozy and safe environment, this is not the place for you. Was absolutely not worth almost $170/night.

This is attached to a private residence but a totally separate entrance and the deck/pool area is terrific. It has a nice little kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker (supplies provided), microwave, dinnerware. It’s really quite nice.

It was amazingly clean and has a pool and nice deck, was really impressed with the sleeping arrangements. We had our own private sleeping space. It was the best place I believe I have ever spent a vacation week-end at.

No a/c but the property's proximity to Portage Lake and Lake Michigan, along with a couple of good fans, kept us cool. Great place!

The apartment was very nice. The only improvement I can suggest is coffee. There was a nice coffee maker but no coffee.

True find
I totally enjoyed my stay, lovely home and most of all lovely owner, she and her son made sure I had all my needs met and feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable. This place had a lot of charm and was very well kept. I picked this place at random and will certainly recommend it to anyone. To me it was a true find and I will be booking again when I go back that way next year.
