Our room was super cute, with a nice view of the lovely garden and pool. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good water pressure, and everything was very clean. Beautiful, friendly, quiet, and clean hotel. The room was lovely - spacious and I loved the window seating where you could look out into the garden. I think the fact the rooms are around the garden contributes to the quiet but it must also have some good sound insulation of some sort - it's very rare I have stayed somewhere in a city location and not needed earplugs at all! The staff were very helpful and kind, even patiently allowing me to practice my ropey French skills on them despite that it would probably have been easier for them to speak to me in English. And although the pool is quite small, it was well maintained and heated so I could even feel quite comfortable in it on a very chilly November morning. I would love to stay here again, it's such a nice hotel. If it's available and you're reading reviews to help you decide - book it!

Nice set up, decent rooms, but no aircon in rooms. Windows open to the garden, which is fine unless there are people chatting loudly in the garden until the early hours. Okay I am being picky now, but the smoke detectors in the room also flash really brightly right above the bed in the night. Doesn't help with sleeping! Finally, the breakfast is really nothing to write home about. In future would eat out for the cost and get something really nice instead. All in all, a bit mehhh.
