"We overall had a good stay. The location was very central and walking distance to all the major sights to see. However the cooling unit in the room didn’t work properly and kept shutting itself off so we got quite warm. The espresso machine was out of order in the lobby. There were dead bugs squished on the ceiling over our bed."
"The staff was very helpful and responsive.
The only serious issue was that the shower in the room had no shower head.
Therefore the water poured out of the shower as if it was a hose.
Naturally this flooded the floor completely.
As we were staying only one night and this occurred in the morning nothing could be done.
When checking out the staff was attentive and said they would attend to this immediately."
"Great location and very clean. Good size bathroom. Beds and pillows are not comfortable. I did not liked the fact that they do not have double beds, only two twins put together. It would had been great to have a coffee machine in the bedroom."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Belgium
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Belgium is during January, February, and August, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To truly appreciate the country's historical landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 days is recommended. This timeframe allows visitors to explore significant sites, such as the stunning Grand Place in Brussels, the historic battlefield of Waterloo, and the picturesque canals of Bruges, all while enjoying great value for money. With prices potentially dropping during these months, it’s an excellent opportunity for travelers on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Explore DealsOpens in a new window and Last-Minute Deals on Hotels.com in Belgium to possibly find discounted hotel stays near your travel date. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your hotel stay in Belgium. If you're in search of unique accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalized experience and could offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If we find that the price leans toward the higher end, we may suggest more budget-friendly dates that could help you discover a great option.
Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Belgium can provide a level of convenience and access to local attractions, but it often comes with a higher price tag. Accommodations in these bustling areas are more likely to be costly compared to options in smaller towns and rural regions, which tend to be more affordable. For travelers looking to save money, considering hotels just outside the city center can be a smart move, although it may involve some extra travel to reach popular sites. Alternatively, exploring nearby cities can uncover a wealth of experiences while offering budget-friendly lodging options.
