We loved our stay here! Great location in the West End next to the "Hop-on-Hop-off" tour bus line. Excellent restaurant. Very comfortable beds, larger than average rooms, excellent shower. I read some nit-picky reviews about this hotel on Expedia and I think those reviewers must not be frequent International travelers because this place was wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly. The historic building is beautiful. The room was spacious and had a kitchen. Everything was spotless. The bathroom shower was large, great water pressure and temperature. The bed is super comfortable. They don't make up the rooms daily, as it is an apartment hotel. So, you have to ask for things like toilet tissue, shampoo, clean towels. There are about 15 steps, in three phases, to reach the elevator/lift. They say because it is an historic building, they...

Right at the center of the city and very walkable. Next to shopping, restaurants and transportation, but it’s still quiet inside the unit. Very great to have a place with some space and in unit washer/dryer! Be sure to reach out before check in that they have the appropriate contact information.

I'm so sad that we were only in town for one night. My sister and I did a road trip around Scotland, and this was our last night. It was the BEST hotel we stayed in. The staff was amazing and nice. The hotel was quirky and upscale. The breakfast was delicious (the best we had eaten the whole time we were in Scotland).

We arrived early and I asked the front desk person if they could hold our luggage. To our shock, she checked us in early and we were able to go to our room. The hotel is convenient to the train station, shopping, and there is a theatre across the street. We opted to eat in the hotel restaurant and the food, drink, and service was all exceptional. The only thing odd was the type of soap/shampoo in the shower, but I always travel with my own toiletries, so it wasn't a big deal. I would...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Glasgow
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly times to visit Glasgow are in January, October, and November, when hotel prices usually drop. For an affordable trip, consider staying for at least 2 to 3 days to fully experience the city's rich history, culture, and landmarks. During your visit, you can explore fascinating museums, enjoy vibrant art and theater scenes, listen to live music, shop at local boutiques, and dine at charming restaurants and bars. This itinerary offers great value for money while allowing you to connect with the friendly locals and admire the city’s beautiful monuments.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find last-minute deals to Glasgow, explore the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you save on your booking. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options available. With these tools, you’ll be among the first to know about any price drops or newly available rooms for your getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Glasgow hotel. If you're seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels can provide a more personalized touch and sometimes offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the rate is on the higher end, we’ll recommend alternative dates that might be more affordable, helping you to potentially save on your trip.
Consider your location: Hotels located near the city center usually tend to be pricier, but thanks to Glasgow's fantastic public transportation options, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther out that remains well-connected. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there’s often great value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more genuine and budget-friendly experience.
