There’s very little to recommend this property. I have stayed in Nanuet before at hotels that were far nicer in locations one could genuinely call pleasant. That word would not come to mind for this particular suite hotel. It’s in a dreary, quasi commercial area. The hotel is within hearing range of railroad tracks with trains running and blaring their horns loudly late into the night. It was quite a poor value for an overnight rate of $177 all in. No breakfast is offered, and the room we occupied was dark and dreary. The best part of the stay were the two ladies working at the registration desk the evening we arrived and morning we left. Very pleasant and professional. Otherwise I would not bother staying at this hotel.

Not my favorite place
The hotel is old. The first night we were here there was a very strong cigarrette smell in the main hallway which was terrible. The bathroom shower did not work properly at ALL. I think the hotel is over priced. The room was clean, but it had a very strange odor... and honestly the shower gel, buh terrible! And it is very noisy, there is a nearby train which you can hear all night long. The service was good though, very nice people and free washer and drier!!

Not recommended.
No hot water for three days. Hot water would come in for a minute then change to cold or like warm. Complained. Explanation was they can’t control flow and if a lot of people use the shower at the same time that will happen. My key locked constantly deactivated. I had it reactivated and would go back to my room and it wouldn’t work. Happened countless times. Infuriating. WiFi was spotty and delayed. I checked out a day early and the company bit the bullet and swallowed a night. Had to get out of there. This is why I never book on hotels. Com but the people I work for do. Can’t do anything. Can’t get a refund. Biggest scam in travel.

A little sketchy
Stay was okay. Hotel smells weird as well as the rooms, which gives you a vibe that it's just dirty. While we were checking in, another guest called the desk and the staff advised all rooms were booked and they could send someone in to the room to spray. My first thought was bugs, but it could have also been related to the smell as well. Either way, when we got to our room and I was not happy, but we were there for one night and would be out most of the time anyway. The door jammed and the room smell never went away, even with keeping the window open. I wouldn't recommend this location unless absolutely necessary if you can afford another option.

The property itself was fine, but there was water damage from a currently active leak in the room above, hearing loud dripping noises all night. Also, the property was near active train crossing, hearing the horns at all hours. The staff was mixed in their training and knowledge, with people at check-in telling me I could get a receipt from the hotel at check-out showing a zero balance and the staff at check-out saying they couldn’t do it.
