We had a wonderful time. Breakfast was very tasty and with free mimosas plus a discount just for staying at this hotel, who could ask for more. The casino was enjoyable but no winners in our group.

Second time staying at this hotel and loved it again. Although, the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The room size was very good. All staff was on point and very helpful!

I absolutely love staying there! Keep up the smoker friendly things, n less dog friendly like most do and youll always have repeat customers by so many people I know, many times a year! The waitresses in the casino are awesome, bartender super cool, the man that parked my vehicle was the best, room was spectacular! Please keep your rooms exactly the way they are, please dont get rid of certain rooms that may offend a couple! We are there to spend money, have fun, and enjoy our time! Keep

We typically come to Deadwood 3-4 times per year the last few years, and stay somewhere different each time. This was by far the worst hotel that we have stayed. First off, I accidentally booked a smoking room- how is this still an option?! I had no idea there was such a thing anymore. It wasn’t updated since 1970 I swear. Other hotels have enough photos to know what you’re getting into (Victorian antique bed/furniture) but this was truly stale cigarette smoke absorbed from the curtains, to the yellowed ceiling, to the shower curtain. Next the beds and pillows were the hardest and flatest that I have ever experienced. In a two queen room, I tried grabbing other pillows from the bed and they were exactly the same! 2” thick! The mattress sunk in in the center, it had enough use 32 years ago. Don’t forget slippers on this trip as the carpet is probably from the late 1800’s….. mushy. This hotel is a red ex from here on out. Never will forget this gross stay.

Bad boiler

The room itself was good. I called to make sure the jacuzzi suite was in working order before we arrived. They delivered chocolates and slippers before bed. We went to fill the jacuzzi tub and a ton of rust came out of the faucet. My husband let the water run for about 5 min. Came out and said I'm sorry dear I don't think we have any hot water. We called the front desk only to tell us their boiler was out and we wouldn't have hot water at all not to shower or anything.
