Eh- not as impressive as in the past.

We enjoy visiting the anchor inn, the s’mores and fire pits are enjoyable and a nice touch but the rooms are dank, ours smelled like mildew, the bathroom was pretty gross with red/brown stuff smeared on the walls that hadn’t been cleaned and I had to re wash all the dishes before we used them because they were unclean. There were other guests who found it suitable to keep their doors open with their music blaring and the vibe was just off this time.

Great for families !

Rainy 2 day stay kept us from enjoying the beach much but having a cozy place to stay near town was a good way to make the best of it. Game Room, help yourself amenities, check in / out no contact, fire pits and smores, croquet course set up in back, dvds galore, pizza and bar on site, short drive to beach, near many stores and restaurants

We got a suite(Sweet) deal on stateroom 207 which for the last minute decision to spend a night on the coast with our large family group was perfect. Definitely has the old beachy charm. We used to live at the coast and did housekeeping at many vacation rental properties and this was a perfect little suite for the cost of $166 for a king a queen and 2 pullouts even though only one pullout was mentioned and it was up to our high standards for cleanliness. There's even a private balcony with this suite. The room access was amazingly easy. I called the resort after booking and gave them a card number for incidentals and they sent me a text with a link to the Openkey app which allowed me to use my phone as a room key by holding it up to the lock and tapping the key icon on the screen. The little bar downstairs has soft drinks for $2 for a 12 oz can which was great for convenience. They had beer and white claw and similar drinks for 3 to 4 dollars which is reasonable if you just want to relax and not have to go out off property. We didn't have time to check out the mini golf course or the fire pit but next time we will spend a couple nights. We will definitely return in the future.

Great atmosphere. Dog friendly but also very restrictive. Thought we would be able to leave our well behaved dog in the room while we went out for dinner but there is a $100 fine for that, it was raining so hard to find a spot to eat at that have covered outdoor space with a pet. We only stayed one night so it was fine but would have probably stayed else where if we knew all the details that came with having a dog. Also only grassy spot in common area is not for dogs so we had to walk off to a muddy away from the property.

Girls weekend getaway

The state room was very clean. The sofa bed was not comfortable so I would not use it to sleep on. They had alot of amenities, coffee, extra towels, ear plugs, water, smore fixins and more. The pizza was excellant! Will definitely be returning.
