Don't stay here

Normally Hilton hotels are excellent choices. This one is an exception. I got in Thursday and got an early check in. I was expecting to just drop off my bags and come back later, so kudos for that. That evening as I got ready for bed, I noticed that the faucet would not work properly, as you could not adjust the water temperature. It was hot water or nothing! The sink was very slow to drain. I told the front desk the next morning and she immediately told a maintenance person about the problem. He never bothered to fix it. To date, no manager has contacted me from this hotel to apologize for the inconvenience or to see what could be done to make me happy. Usually as a Hilton rewards member, they add points to my account. I don't recommend this hotel.

La estancia y el hotel bien , pero el precio excede porque no tienen estacionamiento y d una estafa Pensar que la habitación incluye estacionamiento y te cobran $39 usd extras, es decir , me pide haber ido a un mejor hotel pagando en este con incomodidades de estacionamiento.

Elevator has a lot of problems

The elevator had a lot of problems and we were barely able to get on and then barely able to get off, the next morning, completely shut down only stairs to get back down to the lobby

pay an extra $50 and stay somewhere else

my rating: 2/5 for a family looking for a nice time. 3/5 for a small couple or single traveler just staying here at night. upon arrival, this is in a very weird area. not giving the best vibes, and the pictures were slightly different. me and my boyfriend were trying to be a bit frugal on our stay but it’s definitely worth the extra $50 for something with parking on site at the least. on the website it states there is parking .25 miles from the hotel, they will not specify what they mean if you ask the front desk. they provide no helpful information, just avoid them honestly. they don’t care. here’s what you DO need to know for parking if you stay here. use street parking/aka meter parking over the valet 10000% it will be significantly cheaper (~.30/hr, we paid $3.00 for 8am-6pm which btw is the only time the meters run, and all day sunday and 6pm-8am the meters are not enforced so go crazy) just don’t forget to buy parking at 8am. we forgot this morning and by 8:45am we paid and hadn’t been towed. we used the meter parking literally on the other side of the street from the entrance (houston st) we stayed on the fourth floor, and the hallway (wood floor) is uneven and completely shifts/warps under your feet when you walk. it’s scary. our bathroom was out of toiletries. the elevator completely shakes and is terribly unstable during riding if you move at all. the tv has basic DTV cable, we opted for having amazon send us an hdmi cord so we could watch streaming services ov

Good weekend stay

Staff was friendly and helpful. Elevators were sketchy and doors stuck on me twice. Room was clean. They gave us 3 bath towels for 2 people for 2 nights, seemed odd. Close to the Alamo and river walk.

Hilton would be ashamed to have their name on this

Room and hotel was filthy. There was no parking lot and the staff parks across the street in the only available public parking streetside. I asked the staff where I can park and they told me I should pay 40$ a night to valet and I’d have a guarantee spot on the public street. Ludicrous! The pool was filthy. It had food wrappers and trash throughout. The breakfast was less than sub par. Barely continental. I got this hotel for a couple reasons. It was close to the Riverwalk so I didn’t want to have to pay for parking and the second reason is because I saw that it was a Hilton Sponsored hotel so I expected better all the way around. Quality, service, the little extra. But the red roof, days inn, and La Quinta has better reviews, and their own parking lot. I ended up paying over 80$ just to park for the day and overnight. I can also say that the 4 surrounding hotels all had parking lots for their patrons. I’m completely dissatisfied with this stay and it will have an affect on me continuing my business with Hotels.com moving forward.

Uncertainty

It was enjoyable and semi relaxing. We had constant knocking or disturbances at our door late at night because parents can’t control their children. The hotel staff desk lady was great but then their was an issue that I’m still dealing with about being charged for something that no one knows or is trying to find out why I am being charged for. Other than that. It was good. May or may not chose to stay their again.
