Room temperature not comfortable

The stay was abit disappointing because our room was quite hot & wouldn’t cool down. We were allowed to change rooms but it was no better unfortunately. I wish they would have given us a credit of some sort because of this.

Fantastic hotel! Perfect location!

Great hotel located adjacent to the river with walking paths and near many downtown amenities. Secured parking, very good onsite restaurant (staff and food were both fantastic!). Room looked to be recently renovated and bed was comfortable. WIFI signal was strong. I stayed in what appeared to be an older wing. Common areas would benefit from better lighting and new carpet. Only minor issue with loud people in the hall in the middle of the night. Can happen anywhere and not the fault of the hotel but perhaps a posted quiet time might be posted. Overall a great stay and would stay there again!

Not a comfortable ar

The room was.. Okay. Very small but served its purpose. The area and parking were uncomfortable. I was surprised our vehicle didn't get broken into, I did not feel safe going from my car to the room at night. Parking was in a back alley and there were people roaming, loitering and digging through garbages.

Decent Enough

The hotel location was great being near the university, and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The drawback was there was a lot of construction, so much so that I got lost as I was not even sure if floor 2 was open at first after going up the elevator. Also, I was not aware at booking that the pool and workout room were closed due to construction until after buying the room, which is not reasonable. Everything else was 10/10.

Keep improving please

I appreciate that they're undergoing renovations, but the fact the pool and hot tub are closed is not indicated prominently enough on the website with the room description. Very disappointed that we didn't realize this until we arrived at the hotel. Also, as they have switched from carpet to flooring in the guest rooms in the renos, the rooms are now much louder. We had an adjourning room and could hear the conversations of our neighbours and they were just speaking normal volume. The new parking arrangements with assigned parkade parking is fine but it was time consuming to go in and out of the parkade in a separate building. Also - there's only a mirror in the bathroom. No full length in the room at all. Such a small thing but makes it difficult for multiple people to get ready at once, that's a dealbreaker for us.

Somewhere else

The only thing I was so mad about was that we only booked that room because there was a pool. But we where so upset when we get there paid for the room already and the pool is under renovations on the website there was no sign stating this I would have choose another place to book we had our swim suits on and was on the way down and got told it’s under renovations so mad I was so mad. Everything else was good but so mad abo it this I would of stayed somewhere else
