Wonderful old charming place to stay if you cannot find place inside the Yellowstone National Park.
Andrea, 2-night trip

It felt like home! Location is great and both times I have stayed at location have been enjoyable!
Katrina, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Excellent location but the room was uncomfortable

Parking area was perfect, right in front of building. The room was very quaint. Bed felt like the springs were bulging up your back. The shower head was so short you had to bend over to wash your hair. Another room was cooking something that smelled so bad we left early.

John, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Try to get a back room (203 or 204) they have a great view of the park. The room is rustic, but in a good way ! A delightful hotel !
Russell, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel is rustic but very convenient. The beds were fine and there are plates, a pod coffee maker, a small fridge and microwave. The only complaint we had was that the noise from other rooms made it hard to sleep. A good place to stay before entering Yellowstone. The owner will send you lots of information.
Julia, 1-night trip

Great place the rooms were amazing parking is tricky as there is not much of it.

10/10 Exceptional

Great location overlooking the northern entrance into Yellowstone National Park. The history of the property makes the experience even more special. Great instructions and recommendations were given.
Tim, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Highly recommend!

This was our favorite stay in our trip to Yellowstone. The room (more like small apartment) was really adorable on top of having everything that we needed, including comfy beds. The owner bent over backwards to make sure that we enjoyed our stay given the north entrance road closure, with terrific recommendations for Yellowstone tours, rafting, and hot spring pools. Gardiner is a great, resilient town with tons to do!
Meg, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. We enjoyed all the Yellowstone decor and antiques. Although we only stayed 1nite, You provided everything needed for an extended stay——with one exception—a comfortable chair or two for reading or watching TV. I would also like to have the TV remote sanitized. (Ours had some unidentifiable blobs and was sticky). Other than that the room was very clean.

Marlee, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I booked this place a few hours before arriving because we were renting the Airbnb across the street and needed another bed. First, the space is in a dark area around the back of the property. It is simply creepy, dark, and not someplace you would want to be. Then upon entering the room, it had a terrible smell. I would describe it as musty, dirty, and not someplace you would want to stay. I messaged the owners to let them know I would not be staying there and requested a refund. Remember, I had only booked hours earlier. They refused. I did not stay in the "hotel". It's not actually a hotel. There is no lobby. Its like every room has it's own locked door. Super creepy vibes. See if the Stone House is available on AirBNB. It was lovely.
Billie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The only real downside was the very steep stairs
David, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Told not to arrive before 16.00 when rooms were ready way before. Room 104 very noisy from room above. Air conditioning useless and noisy. View of security fencing surrounding vacant lot opposite. Q
Mark, 1-night trip

Cozy place. Maybe a little quirky. More like an Airbnb than a hotel. We loved it!
Timothy, 3-night trip
