We do a lot of traveling and this was by far our worst experience ever with a stay anywhere in the world. We reserved a first floor unit many months in advance because we are in our 60s and have mobility issues and do not want to climb stairs. However when we showed up we were told that the only unit available was a second floor unit with a long flight of stairs to get to it. We asked about our first floor unit and we were told it was not available even though the property did not look crowded.
Our second huge issue was the fact that this property was described as air conditioned but it turns out that only applied to the bedroom and it only applied at night. It was like an oven in there and we were told not to run the air conditioning until night, just to open the window even though it was hot and humid and there was no breeze.
in addition the furniture around the pool was broken and just in general the property looked rundown. We tried working with the property management and they were not at all interested in addressing these issues and also expedia did not stand behind us in terms of wanting a refund for this misrepresented property. We were forced to find another accommodation at additional expense. We will think twice before using expedia to book a stay in the future.
