It was ok, the room was pretty clean and nice and cool. There was a lot of trash in the hallways that was picked up. An old property in need of fixing up. Check in process was very smooth and staff was friendly.

This is my preferred hotel when travelling to the Louisville area. You will not find a better hotel in this price range. Also it is just 5-10 minutes across the bridge to downtown Louisville. Clean, nice rooms, quiet and safe.

We were confused and when we booked online and called everything was going to the radisson, we did not know we had reservations at the derby hotel (big difference) although it’s under change and a bit confusing it was overall a good stay. The kids absolutely loved the pool!

The room was OK. But you could tell that it definitely needed a deep clean. There was dust on the baseboards and behind the bed when we try to plug in our electronics. The bathroom looked like it could’ve used a deeper cleaning. The tissue box was definitely already used and it didn’t look very appealing. The TV was also left down in our room so of course we were a little afraid to even enter.

The pictures on Hotels.com do not match the rooms. No microwave in the rooms. Ice machine only on second floor. Had issue with the plumbing the first night there and had to be moved to another room. Second room had an issue with the shower not working right.

Pool was nice, room needed a little work, overall à good stay for the price. Only problem I really had was when I rented the room it stated that there were queen sized beds in the room, but they were full sized beds. We really needed the queens, so we won’t likely stay here again unless we only need one king bed.

Stayed 2 weeks. 1 week longer than I wanted to. Tried to get out of 2nd week. Notified them 3 days in advance. They just blew me off. Had to beg them to change my sheets after 11 days. Never cleaned the carpet. Had to go up front and get my own towels everyday. I'm still in this town another 4 to 6 weeks but I'm not there.

The cost is sufficient to the property. Don’t think you are staying at a 5 star hotel when it’s a 1 star. As far as it being clean, yes . As far as the furniture old, not going to put it down to much cause of the price . Staff was very nice .

Pool is connected to the radisson which is very nice however the derby suites look sketchy and run down. Pictures are very misleading, it reeks of smoke when you walk in. Will not stay there again.
