oninosumika
"The property was heaven on earth. Beautiful serene place to be. The onsen town itself always also beautiful to walk around and get a coffee, etc. The breakfast and special dinner at the hotelwas a spectacular work of art multi course Japanese feast. Highly recommend. Having our own mineral onsen in our room was also a highlight. Love this place."
Yukairou Kikuya
"The hotel was very authentic and this is the experience we were looking for. The staff were nice and helpful. Everything was great."
Arai Ryokan
"👍"
Shuzenji Onsen Katsuragawa
"Fantastic traditional feel onsen hotel, with both public and private onsen baths, comfortable western rooms, public spaces and amenities (robes, refreshments, late night complimentary ramen, etc. Near scenic river run , quaint shops and restaurants, shrines, temples and bamboo groves, all within walking distance. Amazing breakfast buffet, well worth the upgrade."
Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji
"We saw Mount Fuji early in the morning and it was breathtaking! Breakfast overlooking the forest behind the property was delicious and so beautiful. The onsen in our room was wonderful! Hotel staff were so welcoming and helpful! The shuttle bus from the station to the hotel made getting around Shuzenji accessible."
sakahijiri・gyokushoen
"What an incredible stay for us. First time to a ryokan (i.e., traditional Japanese inn w/ onsen). What an experience! Hotel is somewhat confusing to navigate, but that is part of the adventure. The public onsen was incredible (note: they swap the male and female sides, so pay ATTENTION!). The room we stayed in was "traditional" in that we had five futons atop tatami. Haven't selpt that well in a long time! The in-room onsen was a bit old school (basically a deep tub), but still oh so magical. Just a great experience overall. Plus Toi, while quiet, has a lot of charm once we go exploring."

Tofuya Resort & Spa Izu

Shin-Kaikatei Izumi
"Good size room and very clean. Bath facilities were great."

For those interested in exploring key landmarks, history, and culture—such as temples, hot springs, luxury resorts, and theme parks—a stay of at least 1 to 2 days is ideal for experiencing the area's cultural and historical attractions.

Enabling email alerts or push notifications could help you stay updated on flash sales and price drops. - Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at an Izu hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels might offer a more personalized atmosphere and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll indicate if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average, and if it's on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: While staying near major attractions or downtown may offer convenience, it usually comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, consider hotels in neighborhoods farther from the center, striking a balance between cost and access to your desired destinations. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can often provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
