Very beautiful place. Well maintained. The breakfast is really good. Keep in mind it’s in the medina and the streets are in rock with stairs so you need to cary your luggage. Very well placed, and staff were nice.

“A Hidden Gem” This beautiful, family-owned hotel is tucked away in a stunning location — a bit hard to get to, with parking a distance away and plenty of steps to climb, but absolutely worth it. Beautiful clean, attractive, with new furnishings, helpful hosts who speak excellent English and delicious breakfast. Note that because this a historic neighborhood and riad, there is a steep walk to get to the building and internal staircases to reach the rooms, so you may need to call ahead to ask for help with luggage.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dar MD! The location is very good for viewing the different sites of Chefchaouen. It was also located close to a very good restaurants: El Ciello and La Tirana. There was lots of storage in the room and the lightning was thoughtfully laid out. The shower was the best that we experienced in Morocco! The entrance to the Dar is beautiful and breakfast was delicious and with nice views from the rooftop. The front desk was very helpful to arrange a taxi to the bus station and to help us with our luggage. We were pleased with our choice in the Dar MD.
