Would not stay again

Its an older building. Con: window is thin, noise until 2am. Allergy to animal don’t stay here, floors had animal strain the rug also smell. Bathroom has mold, AC vent and fan are not dusted. Bed sheet has hole on them. Pro: very close to river walk, parking is a block away at $10 a night (without in/out privilege). Near lots of restaurants, shopping-all within walking distance. Hotel staff were excellent, super helpful. For more comfortable stay, i would have paid more for another hotel.

Great hotel, not a great view.

The room, itself, was really nice and comfortable. There wasnt much of a veiw because most of the windows faced either a wall or the hotel next door. The overall vibe was really nice, and bed was comfortable. You can't beat the location!

Family graduation and sight seeing

Stayed here for a graduation and sight seeing with my wheel chaired Mother. The place is safe,secure, comfortable and clean. The location could not be any better close to the river walk and the Alamo. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative especially Crystal who helped me with check-in ,reasonable overnight parking as well with local eateries.

Great location. Super Cute. PIN code didn’t work but the staff helped quickly to resolve it l. Parking was EXPENSIVE and there was a tiny note on a sign outside about with a more affordable option. Unfortunately I didn’t catch it until after the fact.

Misleading

Several issues with this property: the photos are misleading. Our apartment was nothing like the photos. It was dirty, linens are paper thin, pilled, stained and some pillows didn’t have pillowcases. The bathroom was nasty. Mold, hair, the hair dryer was covered in some yellow sticky stuff. The fabric furniture was dusty and the rugs were dirty, old and unraveling. The iron has burnt fabric stock on it so it could be used. We had to clean the shower and bathroom before taking a shower. The towels are also old, thin and scratchy. Hotels.Com says there’s free parking but there’s only valet parking at around $50 plus tax which for downtown San Antonio is standard but should be disclosed in advance. We parked about a block away for $10 a night but be aware that’s public parking and not surveilled. The positives are the price and the fact that you can accommodate 4 people for the price of one hotel room. Yet, cleanliness shouldn’t be compromised. Look at the photos. This property needs to review their advertising photos and adjust to reality. Entrance to apartments, elevators and hotel after hours is keyless. You get a unique code that unlocks doors and allows you to get in the elevator. The young lady that was there when we arrived, gave us clean sheets & a clean duvet as the one in our room was stained and hadn’t been changed. She was the most pleasant experience about our stay.

Great stay!

The hotel is amazing! I believe it was an old office building converted into a boutique hotel. We had a studio with a queen bed and private bath. It was a City view, so it could get a little loud if it were very busy in town, since we were so close to the Riverwalk. The hotel provides eye masks and earplugs for each guests. What I found to be very eco-friendly, is everyone has their own unique "pin" to get into the hotel after hours, but also for the elevator and to get into your room. If you're not too picky, choose garage self parking "Hudson Garage" just a little less than a block away. The difference: valet $45 self parking, $10.

Great Hotel, Fantastic Service

Our team stayed at the Maverick while attending a conference. The rooms were perfect for our needs and complimentary bottled water was greatly appreciated for the Texas heat! Check in and out was relativly seamless although I think there is a minor disconnect with the info emails about using the check in app when using a third party to reserve. By far, the highlight of our stay was the service we received from the concierges, from accepting packages to providing great recommendations in the area; they really went above and beyond (Crystal especially).

Girls Getaway was Great!

This hotel/apts was perfect for our bachelorette trip stay! If you can get the Penthouse, do it! The beds are a little uncomfortable but everything else made up for it. Only one valet so you could be waiting a few minutes for help but would definitely stay here again :)

3 night stay for FIEST

My parter and I stayed here for 3 nights to explore San Antonio during Fiesta week. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The location is great for downtown San Antonio. Very walkable area. The parking did take awhile to get our car but other than that no issues and I would stay here again.

New York vibes

I loved this hotel. It made me feel like I was in New York! The vibes and how it looked. The front desk ladies were very welcoming and attentive. The food was beautiful and very clean. The view was a plus! Definitely will come back to stay.

Soooooo Loud!

This was the loudest place I have ever stayed. The constant noise was ridiculous. We were on the 5th floor and it sounded like we were on the first floor with our windows open.
